The mental shave is the best I have ever had! I ordered one and used it was so happy I ordered four more. What is really nice a little bit goes a long ways and it provides a nice cool shave in the shower. I would recommend this to anyone who shaves regularly.
In my many decades of shaving, I have tried what seems almost every type of foam, cream, and gel known (and some which shouldn't have been known) to man. I am very impressed that EMJ has created a shave cream as good as any I have used, with better ingredients than most, at this small price! I have very sensitive skin but it has not been irritated by the mint shave cream or the mint post-shave. However, I mostly use the non-fragranced shave cream and am delighted that I do!_x000D_ _x000D_ EMJ is a terrific company with wonderful customer service. Perhaps, some of you like me are weary of going into high priced stores and having the clerks either glom onto you like barnacles pleading, "may I help you" like a broken record until you leave the store, or ignoring you because texting is so much more fun and important. None of that with EMJ. Its representatives are always helpful, courteous, and caring.
The last few years I have become more and more sensitive to additives in everyday products. Most shaving creams even though they claimed to be fragrance free, always left me irritated with severe reactions. Stumble across your product a few months ago. Wasn't expecting much different but after just a couple of weeks I began to see huge improvements in my skin. A couple months in and 5 plus years of daily breakouts and scarring had been almost entirely erased. Thank You!!! (My wife is happy also!)
I’ve been through several shaving creams over the years, and I felt I’ve had the easiest, cleanest shave from the activated charcoal shave cream. I shave my head and have thick hair, so I was happy and signed up to receive the charcoal series as a subscription.
IMHO, this is one of the best shave creams available. I have paid three times as much for shave creams that I enjoy less. The cooling effect is especially good for my aged, and sensitive skin. A little provides a protective coating and leaves a nice post-shave feel. The only drawback, is that it appears to be only available online. Hopefully, EMJ's shaving products will return to B&M stores when supply issues permit.

My shave is much more comfortable and closer than I have been used too. This shave cream is gentle on my skin yet provides protection without alcohol or funny smells.
First time using a shaving cream in a tube, not an aerosol can and was skeptical about whether it would lather or just slide off of my skin. Turns out, it works as well as the foam, maybe even better. Nice clean scent, nothing too strong or perfume-like. It's a keeper.
The cream is perfect for traveling compared to the larger gel cans. The cream works well and is smooth. No real negatives.....I am only giving it 4 stars because I like the gel so much more, so my personal recommendation would be the gel over the cream for home use!

I love Every Man Jack products and almost exclusively buy them for my skin and hair care needs. Their ACTIVATED CHARCOAL_x000D_ shave cream is a rare miss, though. It has not given me a smooth, comfortable shave like their other products. In fact, I have gotten several ingrown hairs since using it for a month. I like the idea of it having activated charcoal and tea tree oil, so I may try the shave gel version next.
