Durable, affordable for a teen or anyone who does light traveling. Its a get up and go travel set that has many advantages. 20" upright, boarding tote which has a retractable handle for pulling. Inside the luggage it has a belt that snaps, that will keep your clothes secure in place. You can usually pack at least three pair of pants along with three shirts. The outside pocket can be used for socks or other personal items. The boarding tote, is about as big as a messenger bag. It can be used for at least a pair of shoes, Pajamas or any miscellaneous items or some snacks. My daughter has used it for her gym class to carry her gym shorts and shoes. The Boarding tote also has an outside pocket that can be used for soap, a toothbrush, flat iron, roller, or any small items. The material is pretty sturdy and it is light weight.
I purchased this set at my local Walmart store for a one-time trip, and the price was right. Plus these do not look "cheap" at all. To be honest, the only piece I've used is the carry-on (largest of the set) so I can only comment on it. The handle is plenty long for those of us guys who are 6'+, and stores well taking very little space inside the compartment. The ability to expand the size is a major plus, and the roomy second compartment on the cover is especially handy. My twist is that I've found myself taking this carry-on on countless flights that I never expected to. By all rights, it should be dead by now! It's been diverted to tagged baggage, miss-routed to regular luggage, and basically beat to near death... yet the zippers still work fine, the hardware has held up and it's still good to go. I've had items ruined inside it due to airline handling - but it lives!!! Let's be real here - if you know you are going to fly with these often, they are not what you want. In this day and age of flight, the carry-on is more and more likely to be tagged and beat around. You are taking a gamble (which I've been lucky on). But for those of you who don't plan on using this set much, nor taking them through the airlines - save money and go for it!
It's light weight. My other bags are heavy empty and I love how light this one is. In fact, i had my 3 and 7 year olds drag one of these bags each all around the airport. There are no pockets inside the big bag, but that's not a big deal for me. The smaller bag fits perfectly around the handle of the bigger bag which is what I'm always looking for. I used the little bag as a day bag when I was out with the kids and had no problems.
I have not actually used this luggage yet, but I was very impressed with the quality of the luggage. The appearance is as described or even better. I purchased the Black luggage set, and I am totally pleased with all the pieces. Great buy especially for the price.
Needed a small carry on that was relatively cheap for a man. Simple design. Sturdy enough for light travel. It was nice that it came with rollers and a bag for toiletries.
Luggage set is very nice for the price...... I needed something not cartoonish for my tween daughter. Comes with 2 other bags as well, one toiletry bag and one whatever bag. Material seems durable. The suitcase itself could have been made a little more durable- but for the money,it's OK. The size is good also, wheels are nice.
The size itself of the luggage was exactly what we wanted, however when we started to pack, the outside zipper broke. So no, we are not impressed, at all.
Such a bad quality, returned it just at the moment I got it! No internal lining, thin fabric, wheels wont turn and break after first use, not intended for air travel. not a good deal even in such a low price
I ordered this as a Christmas present and I'm almost embarrassed to give it to him. It is very, very poor quality. Cheaply made. Not work the box it came in.
Very disappointed in the quality. We took it back and traded up to a sturdier model. Also, we did a site to store order and the one they pulled for us was either a returned item or a demo model, so we had to do an exchange to get another, but it still did not look like it would withstand much use, so we went back and traded up.
