So far the folding luggage cart has worked out good. The weight limit is 75 pounds it can do more then just carry your luggage has multi uses lol. It can help bring in your drinks if you have went grocery shopping it can be used to help move items around your house and so on. So I really like it it's nice to have very helpful I would recommend this item
I received a Protege Folding Luggage Cart free in exchange for my honest opinions. I am happy with this cart! It is lightweight,extends to 39.5 inches, and wills upport up to 75 lbs of luggage. The wheels roll smoothly, with no hitches, and there is a super long bungee cord included as well, in order to safely secure your luggage to the rack. It also includes a 5 year warranty! I honestly dont know how I ever traveled without this!
The Protege Folding Luggage Cart was exactly what I were looking for. It is relatively lightweight, sturdy enough for our needs, and folds down to a compact and easily storable size. When the cart arrived, I was pleased to find it came with its own bungee cord that has plastic hooks on both ends - very handy for securing the items you are carting around. Since the bottom of the cart sits flat when not in use, you don't necessarily need a bungee cord to keep your items from sliding off (unlike some other carts we have tried). The manufacturer states max capacity is 75lbs - while we did not test it to its limits, the cart is easily able to transport ~40lbs of paperwork/files without any issue. The wheels have good traction as they are made of rubber, the handle is comfy and doesnt cut into your hand, the bottom of the cart folds out and is held in place by friction/the weight of the load you are transporting (there is no locking mechanism). Since the cart is not bulky and pretty lightweight, moving things around is a breeze. The cart has been quite handy for moving heavier things around the house (ie paperwork/files) and for transporting canned goods/heavy groceries to and from. If you need a light-duty means of moving heavy items around the house or outside on the street, this is the cart for you.
This is a great cart. I usually use it when I buy cases of water bottles and have to carry them from my car to my garage. I also use it to carry my 3 & 5 gallon water jugs and carry them inside my house. The only thing I don't like very much is that the bottom piece doesn't stay flat down without having to hold it down in order to load stuff on it. Not sure if maybe I'm not using it correctly. But other than that, it is very useful.
We travel most weekend about 100 miles and often have multiple bags, ice chests, and boxes to load and unload. This travel sized cart made our packing and unpacking so much easier. I can take fewer trips in and out of the house to the truck now. Since it's is foldable and compact it's not much more to add to our traveling items. Love it!
I love this luggage cart. It folds so small you can squeeze it into your luggage bag when traveling! It comes with cords that are sleek looking and matches the cart itself. The cart is lightweight and very easy to roll, even on carpet. The wheels seem solid but are plastic and this is probably one of the only set backs. I also noticed that the black paint scratches easily, which is why I gave this product 4/5 stars. Otherwise this is a great product and with a 5 year warranty on it, you cannot go wrong!
Upon receiving my luggage cart, it was in a box that looked like it had been thrown in the back of a truck and some heavy packages loaded on top of it, that being said, when I took it from the box, it was in excellent condition with no damage or defects. I was excited to get this little cart and was not disappointed, it will not only be useful for using on luggage for trips but also if I need to move small things around at home, it is so lightweight and easy to set up it unfolds in a few seconds, locks the handle into place and then just load on your item and use the attached bungee cords to strap it in place... what a neat little cart. I can see many uses for it around the house. ** Just remember folks it says it holds up to 75# max and I would say it might, just be careful not to overload it. Great little convenient cart.
Easy to use right out of the box. No assembly required which is nice. Folds down for very easy storage and you can pop it right back up when you need it. Doesn't carry a large load, but good enough for light-med luggage and the tires ride very smooth and it's very maneuverable. The strap it comes with is very handy as luggage will fall off if you don't strap it to the carrier. The strap is stretchy, but tough so it keeps heavier luggage in place. Would recommend.
My husband and I do not generally travel with suitcases. We have a travel trailer which I call our apartment on wheels. We do however live in an 1890 farmhouse that we are slowly restoring. And while we have hand trucks for the heavy duty stuff, I often just need help moving a box from point A to point B. This little cart does the job. And when I'm done, it folds up and leans against the wall without falling. The bungee cords were not long enough to use for the application shown in these pictures. But they weren't necessary either. The load easily tipped back rolled where I needed it to, and I was able to reposition it without effort.
