Good design with strap to secure the suitcase handle. Bright digital display and very light weight so I carry it with me on vacation. With lower fares the budget airline are strict about weight limits so they try to bait extra money by weighing all bags
The protégé digital luggage scale is a durable and space saving travel accessory. The scale is easy to use and is pretty precise. The scale has a max reading of 88 lbs/40kg. It has the various weight options of pounds, kilo grams, grams, and ounces. The scale is all done with a one button control. It is powered by a lithium CR2032 battery. The scale is simple to use by attaching your luggage strap to the looped strap attached to the scale, hold the scale horizontally, lift it up and keep it steady until the digital display shows "hold". Put the scale down and read the weight. The scale can be turned off manually or automatically after 60 seconds of non use.
This is light weigbt and easy to use. Great for before your trip to make sure it meets proper weight. Its small enough to take with you, so you can ensure proper weight on your return home also. My kids also found it beneficial to weight our cats too. Just on a Fun note.
The Protege Digital Luggage Scale is exactly what you need if you travel quite a bit and need to make sure your luggage is under 50 pounds. This scale actually maxes out at 88 pounds, so you have plenty of cushion in case you happen to go over the allotted weight for your travel flights. This scale is a hand held scale and it's made from a very hard, high durability plastic. The handheld scale then attaches to a nylon strap. The nylon strap is what actually hooks on to your luggage. Just wrap the strap around the luggage handle and hook into place. Operation is very easy. Just press the power button and it powers on and reads zero. Once your luggage is hooked on, just a lift up the handle until the luggage is slightly off the ground. The scale will read the weight and display accordingly with the nice, bright blue LED screen. After several seconds, the scale will power itself off. This is a nice, handy item to have to ensure accurate weight for your luggage. I highly recommend it.
Packaged nicely and works right out of the box. Batteries are ready to go after you pull the tab. Easy to read display and accurate weight so you no longer have to sweat at the airport wondering if your luggage will be under weight. Handy device that easily attaches to luggage and could be used to weigh other things as well since it has an 88lb max limit. Definitely recommend to weigh your luggage before your trip and takes up little room so bring it along to make sure your luggage is under weight for your flight home.
Very easy to use with a nice light up LCD screen so you can see exactly how much your luggage weighs before you get to the airport. Peace of mind that you will not be "that" guy that is taking things out of your luggage and moving it around while you are in line to check in and make sure everything is under their weight limit. Nice sturdy strap to hole your luggage off of the ground and very easy to use.
This is a must have item for your travel plans. Ever wonder if your suit case is over weight? My wife is always asking me this and worries about getting charged for overweight bags when she travels. So I usually end up using a normal floor scale to weigh her bags, and this is a pain! This little tool just straps to the handle of her case, lift up, and BINGO you can see the weight of the bag. Now that's the way to take the guess work out of the process. You know, I'm wondering if I can use this when I go fishing to weigh my fish? I'll have to give this idea some more thought and pick up another one for me. LOL
Received this luggage scale a couple weeks ago. It's made of plastic that appears to be pretty durable. To test it, I hung a 35 pound dumbbell weight to check for accuracy. 35.54 - 35.58 is what it registered in the clear to read screen. the reading stays in the screen until you clear it, so you don't have to keep weighing the same thing, if you 'forget' I'm not sure how much more weight it could actually hold. But, appears to work as intended.
A nice little handheld scale for weighing bags that are easily held by hand. There is a little insert of instructions on how to use the scale. It can give weight measurements in pounds, kilos, gallons and ounces. The instructions say that 88lbs/40kg is the weight limit. If you think the bag might exceed that or come close use caution!
I received this scale just in time to go on a trip. I like that you can change the unit type. It has a clear light up digital display and easy to latch strap. The only negative I would say is when your suitcase is close to 50 lbs it's hard to hold one hand and would be easier with a larger handle. I would still recommend this scale for anyone who travels a lot and over packs like me.
