I've always loved aveeno products, and was excited to see that they now carry a line that is specific to men. I felll in love with this aftershave lotion after the first use. Product never feels greasy and leaves the face feeling smooth and refreshed! Definitely recommend this product to all my guy friends!
I was looking for a non-scented, non-alcohol, after shave lotion that was good for sensitive skin. I had a list of a few that were highly recommended by a few "shaving websites and forums". But after checking them out, and then narrowing them down...I ended-up with this one. The others said they were fragrance-free...but they were not. (This one is). The others said they were alcohol-free...but they still burned. (This one is refreshing). The other were supposed to be totally organic...but they were not. (Love your organic ingredients). And as a side note...the others were also much more expensive. (This one was, surprisingly, the cheapest) The first time I tried it out, I had just shaved my head and face. So I placed a dab (about the size of a small almond) on my palm, rubbed my hands together, and it was enough to fully coat my head and face. Nice! No stinging, absolutely no smell, and a nice wonderful moisturizing feeling. My head and face were baby smoothe...and soft. So far I am loving it, and am totally sold on the product. My wifey is also digging it.
I recently purchased this lotion and I have been more than pleased with it. I have had a couple of rough shaves recently resulting in some irritation and this product is extremely soothing. It is also scentless, which I appreciate, as do my colleagues at work.
I was given a free sample of this lotion with a new Remington Shaver I recently purchased and to say was pleasantly surprised! My neck is very sensitive even with electric shavers and after I shaved put this lotion on and within an hour or two the rash was gone! It says fragrance free but when putting on has the slightest hint of almond or something very pleasant and light, but don't worry instantly goes away when dry. I don't mind spending money on products so long as they work and the search has finally ended! Only problem I find is that with word of mouth never seems to be on the shelf when I go looking for it, secret is out!
Have used Aqua Velva for many years. Will now use this!!!!!!!!!!
Finally! A reasonably priced UNSCENTED aftershave that soothes razor burn, is not greasy at all, and leaves freshly shaved skin nicely moisturized. Good job Aveeno!
I have always had trouble with my face after i shaved, I have spent alot of money trying to find products to use after i shave. The aftercare has been troublesome. I picked up the after shave lotion about a week ago and i have to tell you that my search is over. I love the way my face feels after . Now all i need to do is find a place that sells it in Canada, I bought mine in the USA
I am glad to move from alcohol heavy aftershave. I can really get a sense of the oats in the aftershave. I would give it a perfect rating if the some of the non natural solvents used were eliminated, or if there was a better explanation of where the solvents were derived from and an explanation of why they were chosen...
Never used aftershave before, but decided to try this. I have very sensitive skin and this seems to help after shaving redness as well as moisturizing.
Better than most I've tried, and I've tried many moisturizers from the top brands. Although labeled an after shave, it's not too greasy, it's light, and effective. The only other moisturizer I've ever used for more than a few months has been Curel. This product, unlike Curel, is specifically for the face. I hope that it's oil free, but even if it wasn't, it's really good!
