After trying many other shampoos for dandruff, I am truly amazed how fast it cleared it. I am sensitive to many products. I already use the body wash and lotion. I bought a certain brand of shampoo because it promise to moisturize my already dry, and sensitive scalp. I ended up with an itchy, red, and painful mess. I'm so thankful that Aveeno made a shampoo that reversed the damage in ONE wash!!! Now it's the only one I will EVER buy!!!
I absolutely love this line. It, like so many other commenters stated, was the only shampoo that would completely relieve my itchy flaky scalp. I'm truly lost without it. I really hope you guys read these consumer comments. Please bring back this shampoo and conditioner.
My teenaged daughter and I have been using Aveeno 2 in 1 for Dandruff for years. Unfortunately it is no longer available and we stockpiled a few bottles when we saw stores were not caring them any longer. We started using the individual shampoo and conditioners. Unfortunately, again these products seem to be discontinued. Not sure why. This product seems to get raved reviews. Aveeno's dandruff shampoo is amazing on my teenage daughters long hair. Her hair gets dandruff as well as greasy due to hormones and this product allows her to have the beautiful flowing clean hair she deserves. I too use the product on my color treated long hair. It leaves my hair soft and manageable and doesn't fade my color. PLEASE BRING BACK AVEENO DANDRUFF 2 in 1 OR THE INDIVIDUAL SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER
I have tried many dandruff shampoos none that works as well with my color treated hair. My problem is that it is becoming harder to find. I used to be able to get it in my hometown then, I had to drive 30 miles to find it, now, I can't find it at all in a reasonable distance. It is very disappointing because it works great for me the itching i use to have with other brands, I don't find with the Aveeno dandruff . I also, cannot find the danduff conditioner anymore. If you find it and like it, stock up.
My overall scalp health has improved significantly since I started using the Aveeno Nourish and Dandruff Controll Shampoo and Conditioner. I used to go through terrible periods with dry and bleeding scalp. Now, it is dry from time to time but is manageable and much less severe.
This shampoo leaves my generally oily hair feeling clean but not dried out from being squeaky clean. Dandruff flakes no longer show up on my shoulders. My scalp does not itch anymore. Thank you, Aveeno for making a healthy product for my scalp and hair!
It's got a great scent, is mild enough to use every day, and a little goes a long way. I have extremely sensitive skin and this shampoo works wonderfully. I use all kinds of other high end products on my hair but nothing will cause me to switch from this shampoo. Sometimes you just find something you like. I thank the hair gods daily for a product like this that makes my life a little easier!
Great value on something that really works
brought this one 2 weeks ago and used several times. Its very good on dandruff control, but poorly treated my hair. I have long and strong hair. But this one ruined my hair just from the first time I started using this. I feel as it takes out all moisture away from my hair and made my hair so brittle, and increased hair loss. I used Aveeno products for a long time, even for my baby's dry skin and for my hair (moisturizing shampoo, not this product). But, I am very disappointed with this product. want to return this to the store, but I lost my receipt and no way to return now ;-(
