I got this brush for Christmas from a family member. I was skeptical because it was so cheap, but I was impressed! The things I noticed right off the bat is that it's heavy and it's really nice, full, and fluffy. It doesn't eat product, and it's great for blush and powder! I've tried higher end brands of brushes, but this is the best face brush I've used.
Just received this brush in my first ELF order, and I am VERY impressed. The brush I was sent is a white handled brush with red and brown bristles. On a softness level of 1-10, I'd give the fibers a 9.5. So far no shedding. Would absolutely buy again.
This is a great brush for the price. I use it for face powder. It did shed a little but it wasn't bad. It feels soft on my face, slightly softer than the total face brush that comes with the 5 Pc. brush collection. I'd buy this again and again.
I use this brush with mac studio finish natural and this brush is scratchy but manageable. It's not as scratchy as described but not soft either, the studio powder brush is waaayyyyy better, better to pay the extra two dolars for something of better quality
I prefer this brush to be used for applying powder. It gives perfect over all coverage and fits into your purse. I definitely like the little plastic sleeve that comes with it to cover the bristles of the brush. Makes cleaning simple. When you clean a brush, to dry it properly without letting water drip to the roots of the bristles, thus making them loose, you need to sit them in something upside down so all the water drains out. The plastic sleeve holds the bristles together as it dries and keeps them from going crazy in all directions. Love it.
this brush is alright and it does its job well. I have one, yet i dont use it alot. i guess because i am inlove with the texture of my studio brush as this total face brush bristle are a bit hard. sometimes i use this for dustying off excessive powder on my face. maybe i will find this brush useful in the future..
I intended to use this brush for setting powder but after I received it, it wasn't dense enough for me to do my setting powder after my concealer (I need a LOT of concealer). Later I realized that it could be used to fix mistakes. Whenever I accidentally put on too much blush, highlight, or contour powder or i need to blend them a little bit better I use this brush all over my face and it creates a very nice, flawless look.
When I first received the brush, I noticed a very strong chemical smell to it, so I promptly washed it with some nice smelling grapefruit soap that I have. That didn't really help out with the smell, but it lessened it. From the get go, bristles keep falling out or I have to pull them out because otherwise they will just end up on my face. It is a fairly soft brush, but I guess you really get what you pay for with that dollar.
Bought this product because I mean c'mon who can resist the price. I really liked it at first, but like everyone before me has mentions it sheds. After a couple months it started to get matted in the middle. Definitely not for long term use. It worked good at first and after a while I simply decided to get a better brush. This would be a good beginners brush.
I absolutely loved this brush, it was soft and did a great job. The handle started to come off, which was annoying but I could live with it. But then I cleaned it, and the bristles lost their shape, became crunchy, and fell out.
