this is WONDERFUL!!! if you want that shimmer right underneath your eyes to make them POP!! this works great! also good for high cheek bones!! I use this ALL THE TIME! I absolutely love it! easy to blend as well. I use a brush but sometimes I can just use my finger and it blends very well! yes would recommend!
Im obsessed with this product i use it as a base with my becca highlighters, the product even smells good ! Lol if you want a more subtle highlight you can use it alone too! Def redcommend(:
Most underrated product on ELF. I'll include a swatch but I own 4 of these Hopefully all of them soon!
Tired this out a while ago and I'm very impressed.
I've been using this highlighter forever and I can't find anything better than this. I have it in the color pink lemonade and it's great for my fair skin!
I bought this in the shade Lilac Petal, the color is very concentrated, you're going to have to blend. Once blended, it looks so pretty as a highlight, it also works as a shimmering eyelid primer.
I got this in "Toasty" PROS- *Nice Color *Gives a Nice Glow *Smooth (when shaken well) *Long-Lasting *Appears Natural *Worth the Money CONS- *Can be difficult to blend *Texture tends to be watery without shaking *Packaging The color is very pretty when blended correctly. I went for Toasty due to Fall and Winter coming up. It can also work well if you're wanting to get a nice "dewy" appearance to your face. But it's all about how you use it. Let's just say it has potential. I use it mostly on my cheekbone area and it gives a very nice glow. You can go for a more soft glow or a more intense glow depending on how much you apply. I've found it applies best if you squeeze it onto your finger or hand then smearing it a bit before applying, then "dabbing" it on your skin with your finger. I've added a photo so you can see more of its true color. One swatch is of the product not blended, (applied thick) The other swatch is the product after being blended. Hope this helps!
I like this product alot because it allows me to put the highlight exactly where i want it and it blends very nicely as well. A little bit goes a long way as well, just a little squirt and I highlight the tops of my cheek bones, under my brow, above my brow, the bridge of my nose and the cupid's bow. I like how you look dewy and not like a disco ball too. The only complaints I have are that the product is very watery even after shaking, sometimes i get shiny water and other times i get the "whip" i guess. There is a day and night difference as to when you really get the product and when you get the water. Also, the colors i ordered look nothing like the pictures online. I will include them at the bottom. I ordered "Lilac Petal" and "Camilia." In the picture Lilac Petal appears to be a peachy-pink so i was disappointed when i opened my order and it was a yellow/pale gold tone and then what i thought was going to be a pink Camilia ended up purple. In the end it is a decent product and I like the effect it gives my skin. The 3 star rating is a reflection of the poor color and runny/watery inconsistent consistency. Because e.l.f. will only allow 2 pictures, below is the Lilac Petal discoloration (compared to the site) and the 2nd picture is both Lilac Petal and Camilia applied from the tube, not blended to show the watery consistency i was talking about.
I thought it was gonna be a bit thicker, like a whip, and not just water with shimmer in it. Although the shimmery water that comes out is nice I guess. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but I dont think it's suppose to be like water. Also in the photo you can see tiny little chunks of what is suppose to be the whip.
Maybe I got a bad batch, but I purchased the lilac color, and by NO stretch of the imagination is it even remotely lilac. It is a very orange peachy color, and is much much darker than the picture shows. It's a very pretty color, but is just too dark for my very pale skin tone. I am very disappointed
