The pie was very good. It did make a lot of crumbs when I cut a slice.
Awesome pecan pie. Keeps for a while easily in fridge.
My husband really wanted pecan pie and due to,our busy schedule I had no time to cook or bake. Knowing how hard he works I really wanted to give him one so I purchased one from the Walmart bakery. He said it was GREAT! So, now Walmart bakery is my go to place when I don't have time to bake!
I served it warm! They thought I made it.
Had good flavor. Excellent pecans. Could have had a little more filling.
Not too bad for a store bought pie but there could be a bit more filling and I think it would be better if the pies weren't shipped to the store frozen....or they weren't frozen when they got to the store before they were put out on the shelves.
This pie tastes like it was frozen and thawed and frozen and thawed again. The crust isn't very 'crusty' or flaky. It's very dry and crumbles when cut. The filling tastes ok, but isn't quite sweet enough for a pecan pie.
I didn't look at the pie very closely when I picked it up, but it was very skimpy on the pecans. They didn't even cover the top of the pie completely so that when you took a bite you didn't get any pecan.
Dislike the flavor , texture.
Just a single layer of nuts on top. Rest of filling is goo
