These pies are excellent obviously the idiots that negatively reviewed these pies, and didn't refrigerate them, don't deserve such delicious pies. They are sold in the refrigerated area and say refrigerate on the container.
Its not possible to leave 0 Stars or I would. Ours was NOT refrigerated in the store. I dont know why we didn't think of that until we got home,
Worst pie I ever didn't finish. To the person that said they need refrigerated, well duh, but at least it should be good while fresh! The whipped cream is not whipped cream at all, but some artificial concoction, and the chocolate part is so thin as to be practically non existent. There was a distinct artificial taste to everything in it, and nothing was salvageable, threw the whole thing away, and I hate to waste food, not at all a picky eater.
This pie didn't taste like similar (other brands/restaurants) ones I've had in the past. It was pretty terrible in our opinion. Other than the topping ingredients, I didn't taste chocolate at all. It has this weird acidic twang to it. My husband said something about it first and he is RARELY critical of desserts or sweets. And it was refrigerated from the moment we got it home. Will not be purchasing again - in fact, I ate the crust + topping. Couldn't deal with the filling. ***I looked at the container's ingredient list and apple cider vinegar is listed. Not sure why it's necessary, but could have definitely contributed to the funky taste.
