Received this as part of a sampling program. Great taste. Great texture. Very easy to just heat up and serve. I had seen these before at stores but never bought. After trying it I gotta say we absolutely love it. Will continue buying Hormel Chili products and I definitely recomend to everyone.
I have never heard of this one before and was so happy to be able to receive it for free and give it a try for my honest opinion. It actually has chunks of chicken in there!! I was very impressed with the white Chicken Chili with bean. It has just the right amount of beans and chicken.. very good!! I give it a 5 stars for sure. Easy to fix and you can add anything to it.. cheese or crackers or eat it just plain like I did.. right out of the can. YUmmy!!! I will be purchasing this one, even bragged about it to a few friends!!!
I'd have to say this is the best white chicken chili you can get, even from a can. This one will not disappoint you. It's got so much flavor packed in this little can, it's delicious. You can't tell it comes from a can. It tastes just like homemade white chicken chili. It's such a great meal for a cold day, paired with crackers. It's got such a wonderful flavor you can't help but love it. I highly recommend this. It's such a good comfort food.
As a lover of Chili I was happy to receive this sample to try this new flavor. I was aware of the brand but never tried it before. I must say after eating it I was absolutely pleased with the taste. My entire family loved it. The combo of the white meat chicken breast, beans, sour cream, water, green Chiles, onions, bell peppers and jalapeno peppers added that great mix of spice and sweetness to the dish. This Chili reminded me of a home cooked meal that Grandma made with mashed potatoes. It was like comfort food. I would absolutely buy this flavor again if I saw it on the shelf and I highly recommend it to everyone to try and taste. This was an excellent product indeed.
Very delicious! I tried the White Chicken Chili with Beans and the kids absolutely loved it. They didn't even realize they were eating chili! I've only ever had this once and it was several years ago. This was yummy mixed with a little bit of sour cream and some cheddar sprinkled on top. A keeper!
I love this!!!!! It reminds me of a chowder I would eat for lunch or dinner. I ate this by itself but I really think it would pair well with some crusty bread. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something hearty and easy to make. It's the perfect lunch for winter. It's different than other Hormel products and it's amazing!
HORMEL White Chicken Chili with Beans is a very tasty product! It is a little saltier than I had anticipated, but it is still delicious. It's thick and hearty. It tastes like homemade. I received a free sample of the product to try. I will definitely buy this product. I recommend it.
WOW this chili is really good. I'm not a spicy person so I was a little worried that it might be too spicy. It's not, it's very mildly spicy, if you like hot spicy chili you could easily add some jalapeno or chipolata chilies. I like my chili with macaroni so I cooked up a cup of macaroni to add to it and it was great, I easily got 3 hearty bowls out of 1 can. That's a pretty good deal, it would be perfect paired with a green salad and some crusty bread. The most impressive thing about this chili is the amount and size of of the chicken chunks in it. Normally I have seek out small bits of meat in canned soups or chili but these were nice sized tasty chunks of chicken, even mixed with noodles there was enough chicken in each serving to satisfy me. I think this would also make a good warm dip for tortilla chips or chunks of toasty french bread. This chili is good enough to serve to company and I can't wait to try the other cook off flavors.
Although I would prefer homemade white chicken chili this wasn't so bad. My son really liked it as well. I wasn't aware that Hormel White Chicken Chili existed until I received it for review. I received this product sample free in exchange for my honest review.
This white chicken chili was not what I expected. Overall the chunks of chicken were good sized, but there weren't many beans. There were a few pieces of corn, but in general it was mostly thickened broth like a roux. The flavor was a spicier than I expected as well. I felt like there wasn't enough substance to the chili. Personally, I would not purchase it again, but it might be exactly what someone is looking for, just not me.
