Where do they get off calling this a cheesecake, let alone a French cheesecake? The French would be insulted. It has no Camembert cheese in the recipe. It has two doses of cream cheese. They must think consumers are stupid to not know that the Neufchâtel which is supposed to look and taste somewhat like brie, is marketed as cream cheese, which is a cheese that hasn't matured. Further, this pie doesn't taste like cheesecake and it doesn't have the crust associated with French cheesecake. Despite all that, when mixed with the topping and crust, it has a good flavor. I could easily go back for seconds. My husband, however, is probably as insulted as the French. He called it crap. After tasting their original cheesecake, I had low expectations for this. I'd recommend that they stop lying to people and give it a different name.
I thought I was only purchasing one Sarah Lee pie. I was charged for 2 I was taking this to my daughter because my son is in the hospital. He had a brain tumor surgery. Only 3 of us we didn't need 2 pies. We only needed one and that's all I thought was being charged from till I got home and saw in the receipt that the young man charged me twice for just the 1 pie that I bought. I want credit for $6.77 plus tax. For the second pie, he charged me for I did not get but one and put it. It was not one put in the bag but when I got home too I was charged for on the receipt.I want credit.I want someone to do this.This is the fourth time i've contacted about this.And I want my money refunded!!!!!
I purchased this Sarah Lee Strawberry Cheese Cake from Walmart. com and when I opened it it was molded. I will never buy this ever again.
This was a substitute that I was charged for and I don't eat cherry cheesecake. Tried to get it removed prior to pick up, was told it had been removed but it's on my receipt and now I have to prowl through website to find out how to get a refund which isn't easy. Also when I opened the bag with the spaghetti in it the end was not sealed and all the spaghetti had fallen out of the packaging and was loose in the WalMart bag.
My pie came with a side of mold although the expiration date said 2/2025.
I didn't get this item strawberry cheesecake pie
I bought this dessert thinking the crust was a graham cracker crust but instead it was something called an oatmeal crumb crust. It is awful! All of the crumbs fell off the pie! Never will I buy this again. Sara Lee was a name you could trust but not with this product. Save your money! I wish I had!
Does not taste like cheesecake, it's just sweet cream filling and the crust is just crumbs, which must be scooped out of the pan with a spoon. I threw half of it away. I will never buy it again.
Not worth buying Company changed hands over the year or so and the newest owners cheaped out on EVERYTHING. . Cheesecake layer is very thin, roughly a third of the picture on the box, at points it's thinner than the crust, it's also not very sweet, has little flavor or richness. The crust is just graham cracker crumbs that are also bland. The strawberry topping is mostly syrup and isn't very strong. This cheesecake used to be a delicious dessert, but not any longer. If you remember having it in the past it's nothing like that now. I wouldn't buy this again for three dollars, much less seven.
