Sharon is a great delivery person! She actually reads the instruction! On this order I did not recieve the yeast I ordered. I'm sure it was an over site.
I did not check the expiration but i made bread. It doubled in size as intended. If you make a starter you can easily tell if your yeast is going to work or not. Seems most of these people just didnt take the appropriate steps that would let them know prior. The taste was nothing special but what do you expect, its basic yeast.
Bread didn't rise. I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong but I realized that this yeast just isn't very good. I gave it 2 stars because it rose a little bit. The date was good on this package but I bought more with my last order from Walmart and they sent me outdated yeast.
Ive tried this yeast on a few didnt baked goods now and they dont rise like they are supposed to. I have regular yeast that ive been activating and using instead on the same recipes and they bake up just fine. Use your $1 towards better yeast!
Wish I would have read reviews before I bout this! Baked 3 loaves with this before I gave up. Flat bread! Doesn’t work…
Why is Walmart having expired goods on their shelves? Unacceptable
i ordered for pick up and receiver yeast packets that had expired 2 months previous.
Got expired product
Was delivered 8/2023 with Best By date of 10/15/22! Almost a year past! Doubt it was held in a freezer! Who is supposed to check these dates. Not all dry goods are great after Best By date, especially yeast.
I have bought this yeast at 5 different points in time and they have all been expired. Walmart sells expired yeast. The recent one I got expired in March 2023 and it's December 2023 right now. Very poor of them, the store I ordered from is miles away and they are requiring me to drive up to the store just to return the packet and get a refund
