This is so much easier than trying to hand grate ginger! Tastes very fresh and works well in all my Asian recipes. Wish I had found this sooner. All those wasted years...
This little tube of ginger is so easy to use. I never buy the real ginger root, as this is ready to go into hot tea, smoothies, or other recipes.
I use when recipe calls for ginger and it has never failed me. Just wish it came in a bigger tube.
I dont like ginger, but some recipes call for it, so I like to have this around. It's pretty expensive for what it is, but it is really easy to use and tastes fine. I ran out one time recently, and I decided I would try fresh ginger, just to see if I could stand it now. The texture and flavor was nasty. This one being a paste spreads it out, so you dont get any chunks. I'll always use this from now on!
I cook from scratch, always, unless I'm making a ham sandwich. A couple of days ago I bought everything to make Stir Fry for the first time in my life! Of course there was a major amount of cutting, chopping and dicing but fortunately my Global knives are always razor sharp so I got through that easily. But I knew I wouldn't want to deal with mincing the garlic and ginger so I bought the stir-in paste. Now, it IS pricey but you have to weigh the convenience against price and for me, it was well worth it. I use Gourmet Garden Stir-In Garlic paste almost every time I prepare a meal. I prefer not to have garlic smell on my hands and I know Gourmet Garden is a reliable product. It's a wonderful product that I'll always use.
I don't like that it isn't refrigerated. It was in the spice aisle. It used to be in refrigeration in the Produce section. The flavor does not taste the same and I believe it is because it isn't refrigerated. It ruined the taste of my soup. It says on the tube, for best flavor results, refrigerate. I don't know why it was moved to The spice aisle but it needs to be put back in Produce. I used to used this alot in my food but I will buy it from another store if it is kept out of refrigeration.
I didn't receive it with my pick up order.
I am an asian and this is some weird sweet American version of ginger. It says 27 servings but it lasted me (asian) 3 days. This is terrible amount of the price and it's very sweet, slimy, and not gingery at all. Do not recommend.
If I had never tasted ginger in my life, I suppose this might be ok. I regret this purchase because this stuff tastes much more like regret than ginger. If you're older like me...did you ever wipe your mouth with a KFC wipe from the 70s? BC nothing else comes as close to describing its flavor. Nobody who has eat fresh ginger in their food could possibly like this stuff...they overprocessed away everything about ginger that is good.
was not in my bags. please refund.
