It works just as good as any other extra virgin olive oil. And you get more than twice the amount of oil for the price.
Best price anywhere ever. Taste meets expectation and is comparable to other brands that cost much more. This is my brand. Will definitely buy this product again. Already recommended it to friends/family. Remember: Olive Oil is not to be used for fried food, use Great Value Canola Oil instead, you won't be disappointed. I'm talking from experience. Overall: Great price, taste great and is highly recommended. Recommended: Yes.
Good extra virgin olive oil. I've been buying it for years! Just changed to a clear bottle, olive oil should NEVER be in clear bottles. It degrades the olive oil. I will look for a different brand.
Great price for what you get. Today I repurchased the same one online but realized the bottle has changed. Hope they bring the old one back since olive oil lasts best in a dark container.
haven't received my cooking oill
this extra virgin olive oil is not a good oil because it doesn't solidify in the fridge, good olive oil will solidify at 45 degrees ,the prices went up almost $5 in the last 3 months not worth it ,buy your olive oil from One Source, this extra virgin olive oil olives come from four or five different countries and they're probably low quality that's why it doesn't solidify and it's probably low in minerals and from Spain something from Spain same price
I received an order today of a big bottle of extra virgin olive oil was put laying down in bow and seems like there was a bubble and crease where it shouldn't have been compared to the other side and think this maybe wear it leaked from only part of the box had the oil spilt in it but got all over the cat food purchased luckily just messy and messed up outer label When I called got hard to understand people and a run around!!
For decades, my family produced real olive oil from our own olive trees, and this oil tasted completely off!! When I put real olive oil in the fridge for 24 hours, it should solidify. This oil does not solidify. Its a tinted and artificially flavoured vegetable oil.
The top of the olive oil was smushed over to the side. Concerning on when I have to straighten the top if it will crack and leave a mess. Box it came in was in perfect shape, so it happened before shipping. Sad.
Every time I have used Great Value Olive Oils from Wal-mart, my soaps develop DOS (Dreaded Orange Spots) which are commonly found in soaps when the oils are old and begin to go rancid. I have tried it many times hoping that it was just a bad batch and every time it only takes 30 days. Sometimes only 14 days to develop the DOS. The soaps are discoloring before they are properly cured. I have tried lowering the superfat and tried with only 100% olive oil with no other oils or scents. I have tried gelled and ungelled. I have tried the same thing with oil from another source and only the Great Value Olive Oil causes this problem for me. The bottom line is that I really question the freshness of this oil. If it is causing this in soap, I can't imagine it would be any better for human consumption. I would pick another brand.
