A beautiful representation of the novel. My children truly enjoyed this version of the book!
This is a wonderful family movie! I liked the book better, but I usually do!
My grandson had this movie on VHS when he was just a little guy and boy did he watch it a lot. Like daily! Now he is 13 years old but his sister who is 5 now, almost six has loved the movie as much as my grandson did. I find it very refreshing to know I can put a movie in the DVD player and not worry about bad words, people in bed or drinking or smoking. In other words I find it a very good movie for children. Just as much as Veggie Tales, any movie kids want to watch several times is a hit to me.
This is one of my favorite Disney movies. We all daydream and use our imagination. This movie captures reality and imagination together in a wonderful story of a young boy wishing to embark on a new journey in life. The animation is great and you will love the characters and relive memories of your childhood.
This movie is a great selection for children. My son loves the movie. It has a great story and adorable characters.
I used to watch this movie all the time when I was young and it came out! I have since lost my VHS copy while moving, so now I plan to upgrade to the DVD so I can continue to watch this awesome movie again!!!! Good movie for all ages!
Was disappointed in the push this film gave for children to show a mean side. Granted the Aunts were quite lacking in moral development themselves. Could be used to show how both children AND adults should NOT be protrayed. Animation was good.
