Slide lever to open dust cup, pull out and empty dust cup and then slide lever to close dust cup. Weekly wash and clean filter screen. Turn clockwise to remove filter screen, wash under running water and return dry to vacuum cleaner. Also, the foam and cloth filters should be wash off, dried and returned to vacuum. Monthly clean brush roll from any debris such as hair or strings that have been vacuumed.
