I received this beautiful duvet and shams for our guest bedroom and the colors and texture were so much nicer than the picture showed. I was able to find some throw pillows to add to it that added some more warmth to the entire look. My husband and I absolutely LOVE it!! Amazing price, as well.
This is such a pretty set. The colors are very tranquil and go with any decor. I know that you are supposed to dry clean this, but I have dogs that LOVE to sleep on the bed. I've washed it 2x so far in COLD water on the GENTLE cycle with WOOLITE and left hung to dry. It stays nice and soft and doesn't shrink at all.
I purchased this for my daughter as a Christmas present. She was very happy and surprised with it. I helped her put her comforter in it the other day and it was very easy to do. She really loves it and I must say it's very pretty and looks great in her bedroom.
This duvet and matching pillow shams are great! Very earthy looking. You wouldn't believe that I got them for thirty dollars (plus nine shipping). You'd easily see them in a major department store for far, far more. One note, though: someone wrote that the duvet didn't wrinkle after being washed and dried. Maybe she took hers immediately out the dryer; I don't know. All I know is that mine was a bit wrinkled. However, for me that is neither here nor there. Had I known that, it would not have deterred me from purchasing the product. It still looks fantastic!
I adore my new duvet cover- its friendly for the enviroment and its friendly on my wallet too!! The "eco" friendly title can give the impression that it will be like cuddling up to burlap but it is actually very soft and warm and the earth tones make it very easy to decorate around as well!!!! just buy it, you know you'll love it!
I got this duvet set yesterday. First thing I did was I WASHED IT and put it in the dryer - came out just fine. It looks great on my down comforter, no wrinkles and great feel. The picture doesn't do it justice it looks a lot better. It has a great feel sleeping in it, is soft and cozy. The best I could find after a long research. GREAT BUY
The Duvet is really nice on the bed, it is heavy enough that it is good for summer, but you will probably need extra blankets between it or under it during the winter. The only other downfall is that it wrinkles easily, I am a neat freak and that bothers me.
I am pleased with this purchase though I am not using it as a duvet cover. We put a comforter inside and were unable to get it to lay flat and look nice. So, I am using it as a coverlet over the comforter. I had to iron it - lots of creases/wrinkles out of the package but it pressed nicely. I wanted a very simple, natural look in our guest bedroom and this was the perfect fabric. Coordinates well with cherry or walnut (dark finish) furniture.
I bought 2 different duvet covers, and liked this one best on the bed. The back/underside is solid cream color and is super soft. The front isn't as soft (more textured) but it looks good, I love the embroidery. I put it with a dark brown bedskirt. The whole thing really freshens up my room. If you have cats, beware....if their claws get stuck, it makes a run/snag in the fabric.
I recently ordered and received a beautiful duvet cover with shams. I really like the pattern and the fabric. I do have one complaint, the button holes are so close to the edge of the material, they are already tearing through. I would suggest your sewing machines be reset to sew the button holes the proper distance from the edge.
