all in all, this tube is a fun ride on the snow. I also have an Airhead (Big Mable) that I use in water behind a boat so inflation is just as important for the snow tube as it is on Big Mabel . The only downside is that I was negligent (my fault) and put a small hole in the tube. The patch kit that came with it was ineffective. I ended up ordering "PVC Stitch" which seems to work well but required 4 coats to get it to seal
I purchased 2 of these and three smaller versions and have used them on 3 different occasions for a total of about 25 runs down a very long hill that we have enjoyed for years. We went further and faster with this sled than anyone else and had to stop ourselves before going into the brush. We did end up in the bushes on occasion and the tubes are still inflated without holes.
Was fun to ride but got a hole in the bottom the first day of use. Bottom material needs to be stronger.
Did not come with any patching material (yet had the patching instructions included) and also had a black mark- must have been a returned item. Able to blow up quickly and easily, but only last 2 or 3 very short slides with a 6 year old. Deflates quickly. Would be great if it stayed inflated.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. The first ride down a smooth hill, a giant crack in the tube caused it to pop. I'm so upset and I only got to use it once. I'm a 31 year old, and I'm not a daredevil. There's no reason this tube should have popped on the first ride down.
I ordered one for each of my three kids for Christmas. Every single one has a hole. Very flimsy plastic.
I haven't gotten these yet but am incredibly disappointed to read all of the reviews are extremely old! I am praying these tubes aren't dry rotted.
