I've used these to hang lots of pictures as well as custom framed artwork and a host of other things. I have also used them to hang china plates on a wall in the bedroom. I have used several different styles for different purposes. Each package shows a MAXIMUM weight the hook will support. DO NOT exceed this weight limit. The hooks must not be loaded for at least 1 hour after placing on the wall as the directions say. Since I don't like to continually straighten pictures, I usually use two hooks per picture. (And yes, I have a lot of money invested in Command Hooks - but they're reusable as long as you have more adhesive strips.)
I use these products all the time I am never disappointed in any if them. I love command products my walls thank you too for not having to put holes in them!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have walls that are not easy to use any nails on. These hooks are wonderful for hanging so many things. I'm so glad I bought them. The uses are endless.
Just used these to hang some pics in my office. They work very well.
We used these strips to have a certificate frame (A4) and a small frame (A5) in 2019 when we moved into our new home. They were fine until a couple of weeks ago when one fell off the wall and then a week later the other one fell as well, both times unfortunately smashing the glass in the frames. Our house is not particularly humid but it seems that with the hot weather lately something has changed and the adhesion on the strips can no longer be guaranteed to hold frame on painted surfaces. I have always been an avid supporter of using these strips for picture hanging but I can't take the risk in the future of repeat damage to glass frames so I won't be buying them anymore.
I tried hanging three pictures on three different plaster walls diligently following the instructions. Two of the installations did fine but the third one just won't work- the product falls from the wall even before I put a picture on it. I tried using new "tape" strips and the same thing happened. Don't know what caused this so am ambivalent about the product although I was thrilled to find a new method for hanging pictures on plaster walls.
I've been trying to hang wrapped canvas with these as well as the hangers for sawtooth hooks. The pictures are far below the weight capacity but will not stay on the wall even though I followed instructions to the letter. Very frustrating. I finally called Command and was told even though they are far under the weight shown, the canvases are too large and the hooks will not work. This should be made much more clear on the packaging. I wonder how many people have wasted money the same way I did.
Afraid to trust my precious picture and frame to this item, Sorry.
I hung a lightweight picture and the hook fell off the wall in an hour and it took paint with it when it fell. I went back to using a nail. A small hole in the wall is better than a big strip of paint ripped off and your picture could be damaged!
This product did not perform as advertised. I followed the instructions as directed, and even left the adhesive on the walls over night to be sure it set properly. Within an hour of hanging the pictures one fell shattering the glass. I'm going back to the old fashion hook and nail to hang expensive portraits.
