We recently purchased the Genie 37220r Replacement Safety Beams after having weeks of issues with the garage door not opening and closing consistently. At one point, when my husbsand was closing the door manually it came off the tracks and we paid over $200 to have it put back on. Even after the repair person was out, the door was still having issues opening and closing consistently. One of the lights in our safety beams was blinking red. My husband purchased and easily installed the Replacement safety beams and the door is working perfectly for $22.97 instead of another $200. I would recommend this product to others.

These were so easy to install. They were a retrofit/replacement of old, discontinued beams but the existing brackets worked like a champ. Very pleased with the value and quality.
Safety beams arrived in a timely manor. This was a replacement so I could reuse old wiring. Replacement was very easy (maybe 30 minutes). New beams are so much better design, wish I had replaced the old ones years ago.

After installing them to replace older ones they didnt work either. I rechecked all the wiring and found a break. I returne these.
