The new sensors work great.
My two Genies are now 23 years old. Had lightning strike that rendered the light in one to go on the blink. Both doors however still went up and down as that part was not affected. Updated my 4 safety sensors and 1 wall pad. Had an issue with delivery when product was lost by carrier in route. Genie promptly replaced the items and I got them a few days later.
Garage door opener was not functioning properly. Bought this genie product, and now Garage door is back to work. Kept putting the purchase off, but glad i finally bought them.
Our garage door had begun to fail when sunlight fell inside the garage. Replacing the obstruction detection sensors with these units fixed the problem. Easy to install, work as they are supposed to, highly recommended.
I was a little apprehensive about installation after my garage door company showed me what was needed to get my door back to running order. Installation, as it turned out, was easier that I figured - a YouTube video was helpful, as well. It turned out, I didn't even have to install the sensor bracket, because the sensor slid right onto the old one after connecting the wires. Solved the "door inoperable" problem immediately.
These delivered on time, included hardware although preferred different nail screws that are narrower and long. Installation was easy if you got the right working tools. Instructions was clear how to secure the wires, either wires works on either terminals fyi. The green indicator light was stationary as a guide, and the red indicator light was the sensor, it shouldn't blink/ flash if parallel to the green stationary guide, i adjusted the green guide so the red sensor wouldn't blink due to house wall structure after installed the green and red sensors. They worked well, so happy my garage door is now back to working conditions!
Best price; easily ordered, slow to ship and receive, but to-the-point instructions and nicely marked/embossed parts to id sensor/receiver for right-the-1st-time installation.

These Safe-T-Beam sensors were packaged well and they were easy to install in an existing wires on both ends. Wish I could've purchased it sooner but I'm glad I have them now! Quality at its finest!
