Very quiet and looks very nice. Like the control panel with ease to raise or lower temperatures and freezer and refrigerator. Love the stainless steel fingerprint resistant exterior. Seems to have a large amount of room availability in both freezer and refrigerator. We also like the new LED lighting.
This is a very energy efficient fridge which has smart features! It Has a beeping sound when the door has been open for too long and this will keep my wife from leaving the door open for several minutes lol...All seriousness, this fridge stays nice and cool and is very bright on the inside. Five Stars!!
Well we've only had it for one day but so far we're impressed with the quality of the Fridge . I hooked up the water supply myself with stainless braided “ no burst “ hose ( highly recommended) and flushed out the lines running a gallon of water through them. Ice maker came on and it started producing ice soon afterwards. Interior LED lights are bright and nice looking . All in all we're very happy with the purchase and only hope it stays dependable. Kinda wish it was made in the USA though 🇺🇸
Extremely quiet, very spacious and shelves laid out perfectly, keeps food at exact temperatures, love the stainless steel no fingerprint doors, LED interior lighting makes it so easy and bright inside to locate food/drink you seek. Best fridge I've ever had pleasure of owning.
I love the product. However, I don't like that the water hose isn't included when you purchase the appliance. I feel like it should come with it. The 24 hr wait time it takes for it to reach it desired temp is a bit also. My temp shows 25 for the freezer and 40 for the refrigerator and everything in my freezer has unthawed over night. Also in the instructions it says you must press ENTER in big bold letters to confirm your selection and there's not one button on this appliance that reads ENTER!
It's only 4 stars because we're used to the 42” one that it replaced so of course it doesn't have as much space but there's only 2 of us so we really don't need that big of a fridge . It's working great though and the water and ice dispensers have no issues at all . We are very pleased with this product.
So far it's been good, it's quite. a little disappointed it took 24 hrs from time of delivery & set up to reach the correct temperature set by the delivery men. & 48 hours to make a full bucket of ice, to dump, then be able to use it. Ice & water dispensing is slow. & sometimes drips out after using & leaves water marks down the front. There definitely is a lot of light in the fridge part & not the same in the freezer part. Guess that wasn't easily noticed in the well lit store.. I would prefer that the temperature setttings show all the time, to ensure there's no issues with temperature control. Only shows when button is pressed to view.
The water dispensing is ridiculously slow. My water line had no problem with the old refrigerator, the flow rate was fine. The restriction of flow is in this new product. What a joke. There is a lot of wasted space between the door and the shelf trays. The door storage space is extremely limited. You Need to take a lesson from the Amana company. There is no slide-out meat tray. Meats need to be kept separate from other food items. A slide-out tray is needed for meats. You need to hire more experienced engineers who know a few things about how to make, your products better. The connection of the door compartments is horrible they have to be pounded into place. A simple up-slide would be all that is needed. There is also wasted space between these bins where another one could fit. The design of the freezer is worse. The wire racks are terrible for keeping bags of frozen products on because they are irregularly shaped (rounded) they simply slide out of the freezer on to the floor. The freezer needs slide-out bins to hold frozen goods in. I purchased some bins that kind of fit, but bins that were designed and fit properly would be nice. The side-by-side I had previously was designed much better. Disappointed in GE's design of this Side-by-Side refrigerator.
There is no word to describe this GE refrigerator which is giving me problems after two weeks. It was delivered on 1/23/2024 and already water on the back panel in the freezer yesterday 2/6/2024 and temperature not as cold. Is this going to continue?
We just bought this Ge refrigerator am not happy with my purchase because as soon as we bought we had problem from freezer side with crack sound with liking water from inside and the gallon bin door is not strong enough 1 bin is already broke cheap plastic material I don't like that
