I rarely laugh aloud watching movies! This, the first Eddie Murphy version had me in stitches! I laughed so much my sides hurt and there were tears in my eyes!! Very clever and uproariously funny situational comedy. Murphy's portrayals of at least 6 different family members/characters, as well as the Professor was brilliantly done, in every regard. The sequels? Meh. One of Murphy's all-time best! Better than Beverly Hills Cop, the original. Great casting, acting, directing, scripting, filming, etcetera, etcetera. I highly recommend this movie for a lot of major belly laughs, no pun intended!! You will enjoy and you will laugh! Yours in Comedy, OldHippieDude aka R. Whitlock from Lake Tenkiller, OK
