The Mapex Special Edition Black Panther Snare Drum features a maple shell with an elm exterior ply. It is built with 4-ply 3.4mm walnut sound rings in the top and bottom of the shell for a rounder, darker tone. The snare drum's natural gloss lacquer finish is accented with all black chrome hardware including die-cast hoops, lugs, and snare throw-off. Mapex includes Remo drumheads, and a 20-strand snare wire. Mapex delivers the maple elm snare drum with a deluxe Black Panther padded carrying bag.
