Ludwig's brass snare drum is built on the format of their Supra-Phonic snares. It features an Evans G1 coated snare head and a chrome steel seamed shell with Ludwig's exclusive center-beaded design which results in a darker sound than steel with a rich tone.

The extra depth of the shell gives this brass snare a deep, fat sound that provides a fitting anchor to any rhythm section Its also sensitive enough to express the lightest touches
