This is very heavy and thin, so a person would not think it could act as soundproofing - but it does work! Relatively easy to cut for what it is. I suggest you let it warm up when using on an interior vertical surface as it tends to relax and stretch. It is not as ugly as a lot of soundproofing material tends to be, just a matt black that could be very tolerable in certain décor. We used it behind our noisy refrigerator as a test and it works nicely. I recommend.
This works so well. I was shocked. The box is pretty heavy but its alot of quantity for the price. I had no problem installing this at all. And best of all it works!
I used this for a bit of a different project. One of my cats is jumpy. She scares so easy and never is “comfortable” we were able to use this around a cube to help hide the outside noises some. She has been sleeping better.
This comes in a roll of 25'. It is thick and is difficult to handle on your own. Definitely need extra hands to put up. Would be useful for small offices or possibly a small bathroom to block out noises coming in or going out.
