holds trash very well
The way that the rim is shaped, you have no worries about the bag slipping down. It is great! My only wish was that you could get in another color, like blue,tan, etc.
Good sturdy waste can for everyday use.
This is the perfect size for under the counter bins. The lip rises up due to the little ridges on the sides making it perfect for getting the bins out when full. The bins are also just a little slimmer than the normal ones...a must for getting the bin that is further back in the drawer out without problems. We tried a few other bins...but these were the only ones that fit...and this was the only store that had them where we could pick them up at the store. It was a perfect solution.
Good value, and a perfect fit in my cabinet was basket opening. Can count on Rubbermaid Products.
I like these bins a lot; I actually have 3 of them now. I prefer keeping kitchen trash unseen, in a cabinet; but I have a small kitchen and not a lot of cabinet space. When I bought the first one, I measured under my sink carefully and chose it because of how conveniently narrow yet tall it was (quite ample - takes a standard 13 gallon trash bag). I had kept recycle trash in paper bags in the cabinet as well, but that wasn't really working well because they filled quickly and it would get kind of messy in there. I decided to do more measuring, and saw that I could fit two more in that same, rather small space! So now I actually have all 3 in there (blk, tan, grey) - 1 for trash, 1 for cans/bottles, and one for paper goods. Its working out perfectly. :)
Product was fine but I misread the measurements and am returning because the height is too high. I ordered a smaller size as well. I am upset that these were delivered three days early, when I was not home. I would have delayed ordering had I known.
I buy 13 gal. tall kitchen bags and the Rubbermaid trash can I bought is the perfect size. The price at Sam's club was the lowest I found when shopping.
I have owned several of these plastic trash cans. I have a trash can cabinet that was designed and built for this particular can. It is the ideal size for kitchen waste. The drawback is the stiffeners under the lip at several points on the perimeter. These raise the stress at those points and eventually cause fractures. That's why I have had to replace them several times over the years.They can be repaired using clear package tape, and I used them in the garage, etc. (Cannot add photo as requested)
Disappointed that you keep changing products. You used to have a three pack at a great price that I bought and you no longer have them. the metal cans are too big and these are too small. I wish you would stop changing your products becasue when I have customers asking for products you no longer carry and I have to search else where for the product it becomes very inconvient and time consuming.
