we used this coffee table for a tv stand..tv size 55"...we love it..
This is a solid wood coffee table that is fairly large.The wood is thick and finished well.I am using my table to put my audio/video equipment on and the large drawers allow me to put all my DVD's and CD's in.Simply Home gives you more than enough hardware to put the table together.I had a full bag of hardware left over.The hardware features very long screws and it is very good quality.When you open the box you may get a little overwhelmed at all the pieces.Be sure you have a large space to lay out all the pieces on the floor and either put it on carpet or blanket or something so you won't scratch the wooden pieces.Be very sure to put the table together step by step just as shown in the enclosed instruction book or else you will end up having to take apart pieces you have already put together.The drawers are very large and feature self closing metal guides with nylon rollers.This table doesn't look like one that has been put together.The pre-drilled holes all match perfectly.In fact,the accuracy of every cut piece and the design is the best I have ever seen.Once assembled the table is very strong and feels very solid.Keep in mind that it will take some time to put the table together.This is not your typical put together furniture with wood veneer,MDF or particle board.This is one of the few items today where you get more than you pay for.I would buy again in a heart beat !
