In the 2005 Lincoln Aviator there is a 1/4 gap all around the bezel and the factory opening. You really dont notice it @ all but its there for me it worked out because i got the Pioneer-AVH-P3100DVD it has the ipod usb connector up front ,so i was able to run ipod cable through dash n-e way. Looks factory and strong Plastic that is non-brittle
