This is a good looking, very well built product.
Great lights very bright, Better quality than the old Malibu Bollard lights. Very solid Easy to hook up Too bad they ran out.
Brightness was just right and using only 1 watt of power. Easy to install too.
Nice upgrade for a low-voltage kit I had installed 2 years ago. Those old lights had taken a beating, and used regular 4 watt bulbs. These LED lights are much brighter and use around 1.305 watts with greater overall light output (24 Lumens). Kept the existing system and wiring, and simply swapped out the lights. The stake and bottom tube of the light are metal, the clear portion and top are plastic (the description states that it's a glass lens ... it is not), and I had no issues with dents or separation of the dome on any of the 7 that I had ordered. These were not available in a store near me. One thing to consider - these are LED - fixed (i.e. non-replaceable) bulbs, so if one ever burns out, you'll need to replace the whole light at that time. I included a picture of the "Bulb" - there is no actual bulb to change out.
I have purchased other Moonray products and was impressed with their quality and how bright they were for only being 1 watt. I bought these for that reason and i am equally pleased with the quality materials and how much light they produce
I saw that this was getting some bad reviews..my light I got seems to work ok for now although i had to get used to the concept of no light bulb and looked like a small computer chip in there. Not sure how that will work when it burns out and if there is any way to replace it..the housing itself is a cheaperminio plastic but was replacing an older Malibu bollard style so I used the top (metal) piece from the light I had and was much more solid. I guess the plastic ones are a way to save the manufacturers a few bucks. Anyway decent working landscape light for the money...
Great lights, work well but bought 15 and 5 of the domes had dents. The dents don't effect how they work, not very noticeable except for two. Getting three more hopefully they are damage free. Also, I've notice that when vendor glued the domes to the glass, the glue ran down the glass and had to sit there and manually wipe off. All in all very good for the price, better than Lowes
Ordered 23 20 had damaged domes. The boxes were undamaged; but the cardboard used to protect the dome from the stake is not sufficient / thick enough to stop the stake from damaging the domes. 2 had uncured adhesive leaking from the top dome. The dome came apart from the glass. 1 was undamaged and useable Price point seemed like a good value for outdoor landscape lighting, but poor packaging and quality control gives the consumer a bad part/product
this is a cheap knockoff of the Malibu product.
