These lights are great, overall well made, and feel sturdy. The look is also very classy and should fit in with almost any exterior décor! They do a great job of lighting up our pathway, AND since they're solar operated, you don't need to worry about replacing any batteries! I also like that it's a pack of 6, which should be enough for most installations. The only downside, is since we have tough dirt/soil, we ended up having to pre-dig out the holes and then hammer in the stakes. I am in love with my new lights. Charleston Pathway lights are made of durable and quality material. The globe is made of glass, not plastic like most of the other solar lights. I really like the soft white glow from the glass globes, makes it looks stylish. The copper finish adds a fancy style to my patio. These lights are extremely easy to install. I placed them in my backyard and let them charge for two days before turning them on. They were bright and lasted the entire night. Definitely recommend this product. I am in love with these Charleston Solar Pathway lights!! They come in a 6-pack and are a copper color. I followed the instructions to let them charge 2 full days in the sun with the switch in the off position. Once they had a full charge , I switched them on . The light doesn't come on until the sun goes down, so I anxiously awaited to see how they looked ! I am pleased to report,I couldn't be happier! I put them in planters around my patio and it created a very peaceful area to relax after a long day at work . I want to get more for my front yard! These Smart Solar Charleston lights are really nice quality. They give off a clean & bright white light that clearly lights up the area I put them in. They're heavier than other solar lights I've used with this style. The glass is thick and the entire piece feels durable. They come with long spikes that keep the lights firm and upright. The copper finish on these is beautiful and their style adds a special touch to my yard. They came charged out of the box. I just turned them to the on position underneath the solar panel. I set up these lights by my mail box and near my front porch stairs to allow better visibility in my yard, as I love in a rural area with no street lights. I love the copper color, they stand out more than other colors. The lights were very easy to install, as there are only three pieces, and they fit together nicely. The lights by the porch don't get much sunshine during the day, but they still shine brightly, and offer ample lighting. They add nice ambiance with out distracting from my yard or house. I was not aware of Charleston pathway lights, but the Charleston 6-pack Solar Pathway Lights in Copper are great. I've bought solar pathway lights in the past for my front yard and then also to go all the way around my 24' above ground pool but they didn't last long at all. I opened the Charleston pathway lights and was very impressed at how high the quality was. They were put together very well and very durable. The lights were made of glass instead of that cheap plastic that cracks or breaks with time and weather. Very easy to put them together and place them in the ground. The bulb is LED, so it will last a long time, runs 8 hours fully charged, turns on at dusk and off at dawn, and I love that they are solar because you just line your pathway and forget it, they do everything. I wasn't sure about the copper but when I took them out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the color. Love these and would recommend them to anyone. This is my 3rd set of these particular solar lights. Although most of the item is plastic - the best part is the fixture itself that holds the solar light, it is glass and quite heavy. The lights are bright, I have them all over my yard and they appear to be even brighter than lights in other yards (that are electric). The only negative is that the light does not last long, on the package it says 8 hours but it's more like 4. I'm okay with that as I'm not outside much past 10pm so for the lights to be on from about 7pm til 11pm is fine. And before anyone comments, yes, they are in bright sunlight all day for the charge.
I was pleasantly surprised that the pathway lights are made of metal and glass instead of plastic and that the batteries can be replaced with rechargeable Ni-mh batteries. The best part is the lights come with a one year warranty. I love the button inside that allows you to turn them on and off so easily. The reason I didn't give a 5 rating is because it never specified if the lights were warm or cool. I wanted warm (yellowish color) and these are white. They also are somewhat dim and a lot more expensive compared to the warm solar lights I purchased elsewhere. Now I'm waiting to see how long they will last.
