When the pellets go from supersonic to subsonic they start to destabilize and become inaccurate. I wouldn't use them for more than about 30 yards or closer.

I found these to be much faster than lead pellets, also, much louder. They will go through 3/4" plywood, though 1/2" like cardboard. I have not done the Chrony test yet, but its my educated guess it's about 1200/1300 FPS, to do this much damage. This is from a Crosman Phantom break barrel rifle. Accuracy is quite good at 15 yards, (1" groups) from shoulder with open sights. I had to make a new back stop with Purpleheart wood. I have a rubber back splatter cover over it also. recommend doing this anyway, for safty. Even a .22 long rifle won't go through this stuff.

My favorite of all non-lead pellets I've tried thus far in my Gamo Silent Cat. Every shot is supersonic--loud enough to run off the varmints and just plain fun to shoot. These are preferable to the Gamo Platinum PBA and much less expensive. They're still as accurate as any subsonic lead or non-lead rounds I've tried at 10 to 75 yards.

Great little pellet if your looking to break the sound barrier, 1089 FPS @ 5000 ft. nice pop when it leaves the barrel. At that speed accuracy is not its strong suit but at lower speed it preforms well. I bought it just to see if my gun would break the sound barrier and to my surprise it did. Phantom 1000 and a Titan NP both strong guns.

These pellets do not fit well into my Crosman 2100 Classic pellet gun. The rear diameter of the pellet is a little bit too large for the (breach?), so it is hard to push them in and then the bolt must be forced closed. The pellets will only fire when I pump 10 times. Any fewer pumps and the pellet stays in the gun. When I wrote to Crosman customer service about the issue they told me to get a .177 ram rod and unjam it, but told me there are no known issues between this pellet and this gun. When fired with 10 pumps, the pellets are extremely accurate, however. At about 25 feet I am firing multiple pellets through the same hole.

ok in low fps guns bad in springers

If your air rifle shoots at around 900-1000 fps do not use them...they will go faster then the speed of sound and make a loud crack like a .22 lr...after about 8 yards they will tumble and be worthless....(around 4 or 5 inch groups at 10 yards while I can pull one inch groups at 25-30 yards with heavy pellets in the same gun) in low fps guns they do great...(up to 800 fps) they boost its speed and make them hit a tad harder. so in break barrel guns dont buy if it is in a pump gun go for it...If you want good pellets use the crosman hollow points $8 for 500 pellets.

These tend to work adequately for CO2 powered pistols at close range, e.g. 10 metres max. But, they tumble in flight when used in a rifle, e.g. 2 inch dia. grouping goes to 10 inches or worse. So, if you have a barn with a broad side for a target, you just might be able to hit it IF you're within 10 metres.

Does not shoot straight. Looses velocity. Not the same shape as advertised on the package ,and walmarts website.

I bought these for use in my Crosman 1377 pellet pistol with the hopes that they would prove to be a lead-free pellet useful for pest control use around buildings. I was sorely disappointed. Such light weight pellets are notorious for being inaccurate in high powered airguns because they aren't heavy enough to stabilize in the air column at close to super-sonic velocities but these pellets wouldn't stabilize at the low to medium velocities that my 1377 puts out. At just 10 yds. I had large, erratic groups and experienced frequent key-holing, where a pellet struck the target sideways. Considering that my 1377 shoots Crosman Premiers and RWS Super Domes into 10 shot groupings that can be covered by a nickel at the same distance it definitely the pellet that is the problem and not my shooting technique or the airgun. I also had to throw alot of pellets out because the skirts are very fragile and easily damaged. I would suggest looking into other pellets if you are looking for a lead free option.
