Detailed product description

Switch from blow to vac and mulch with just the turn of a dial. “Rake the leaves” with just this one tool in half the time it used to take you. And with the 24:1 mulch ratio, you’ll have far fewer bags to drag to the curb when you’re done. The 525 CFM – 12A Electric TURBINE FUSION 3-in-1 is here to make yard work so much easier. First off, all that functionality is less than 10 lbs, so almost anyone can operate it with just one hand. The 2-speed control lets you blow on low for tight corners, and then crank it up to 60 mph for the open yard. 525 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) is a pretty good amount of air and creates a nice wide stream to get even more done in less time. And the powerful 12A electric motor frees you from the expense and hassle of gas-powered blowers to give you a cleaner and quieter experience. Let’s talk some more about that mulching function. The patented articulating design lets you flip it into vacuum and mulch mode with just one turn. You don’t need to switch out the tube, and you certainly don’t need any tools to do it. It sucks up leaves into the metal impeller and shredder blades, which chops them up into 1/24th their regular size. So you can stuff 24x more leaves and yard debris into the collection bag than you could with a regular yard vacuum or a blower or a rake. Welcome to the TURBINE Fusion, it’s the better way to go rake the leaves.

[3-in-1 BLOW/MULCH/VAC] Patented all-in-one single tube system: blower, mulcher & yard vacuum [TURBINE FAN TECHNOLOGY] Delivers forceful, high-capacity air volume [QUICK CONVERSION] Instantly converts from blower to vac with the flip of a switch [DO IT YOURSELF. DO IT BETTER. DO IT WITH WORX.] Worx tools are engineered with cutting-edge technology, and above modern efficiency standards, so you can build a cost-effective tool collection that’s been designed to last [DUAL-STAGE METAL IMPELLER] Provides 24:1 mulch ratio. That means it chops 24 bags worth of leaves down to one [2-SPEED CONTROL] Lets you adjust for light or heavy-duty leaf or debris clearing jobs [INCLUDES] TURBINE Fusion Leaf Blower/Mulcher/Yard Vacuum, shoulder strap, leaf collection bag

Decent for price

This blower/vac is a very decent unit for the price. The metal impeller with its fine grind mulch down capability are its strongest features. I would have a better sealing ventilation flap to keep the dust down, a little more suction power, and a wider mouth suction tube so the vac is less prone to clogging up with larger leaves. The collapsing basket is way better for storing the mulched leaves instead of a heavy shoulder bag, but having a hardier clip strap (woven military-type strap) would make this unit hard to beat for light-medium use function, weight, and price.

I live in an older eatablish neighborhood with a lot of mature oak, ash and maple trees. I dread the fall and trying to clear my yard of all the leave before the snow hits. This machine literally pulverizes them into dust. I thought the attached bag was too small after talking it out of the box for assembly. After my first use, I assure you that the amount of leaves you can chew up and fit in there will astound you! Best leaf mulcher ever.

This machine literally 'sucks'! Great power, solid

I got this right before the remnants of hurricane 'Hermaise' hit our island. Leaves and branches everywhere. I unpacked it, hooked up a 100' cord and finished the front yard in 25 minutes!!! Blowing and vacuuming switched back and forth easily. The power is super strong and its extremely lightweight. The leaves were sort of wet still so I frequently emptied the bag, not messy at all! We also have a crushed shell parking spot, high winds blew shells around the drive... The vacuum/blower blew the rogue shells back to the spot, no prob!!! A few days ago out 1 YO lab got ahold of a box with styrofoam 'peanuts' and proceeded to spread them around the yard. 5 minutes and they were all sucked up, woohoo! Normally I'd have to do that by hand. Love this thing!!! Its really strong, easy to handle (my wife has no problem with it, other than the fact she hates yard work...) and built to last. This will be around a long time. Nice job, Worx!

Just bought this after Christmas. Used it only once on a relatively nice day. I absolutely loved it. It was a little heavier than I thought it would be but the shoulder strap definitely helped. The leaves it mulched looked like sawdust when it was finished. Would make very nice compost. The bag wasn't even a quarter of the way full when i was done. Definitely would recommend this as with my old Mulcher I would have had to have emptied the bag twice.

convenience, power, handy

I bought this unit for the mulching ability and the convenience of having the bag on my shoulder. Tbh, I hesitated because most of the time multi use means mediocre at the multiple uses. I was genuinely surprised and delighted. I tried the "weed eater in a garbage can" method to mulch my yard waste and it was adequate but inconvenient and the pieces were too inconsistent. The turbine fusion mulcher though: it mulches down to a beautifully consistent and easy to use mulch that I love spreading on my beds. See photo for comparison. Pros: convenient, consistent, can mulch more than it states (very small twigs are ok), the blower is powerful a bonus for my purpose. Cons: (these are realistic but dis not stop me from getting work done), Not fast work: the vac is good, not superbly strong, just give it time when it seems like it's not picking up. Dust: the unit is best used with dry material, but that also makes a ton of dust depending on yard material

Really Love It!

I first bought the model the didn't mulch as small as this one. It was a HUGE disappointment. I immediately sent it back and got this one. It's heavier, granted, but works so much better! I mostly use it for vacuuming/mulching, but it is convenient to switch to blowing to get a quick pile to then vacuum and mulch. I have areas that are near impossible to clean up well...like around my heat pump and next to the fence. This is the answer I've been looking for! I honestly love it. I have only used it one day, so can't speak to how well it lasts, but my other Worx products are older and still running and serving me well. I love their products.

I didn't want to spend the money for a gas blower so I settled on a corded model. No regrets, after getting used to having a long cord attached I was pleased with the performance. The vacuum works well but takes time because of the size of the opening and you have to help a little by unclogging the opening with your hand. All things considered it was a good investment for the $90 I paid for it.If you don't have a long heavy duty cord that is another expense to consider.

Good Machine

The machine is well designed and does its job well. One certainly must use ear protection and a face mask, especially when using the vacuum/mulcher. It is so easy to empty the collector bag and replace. This is far superior to my previous Toro blower/vac.

Good Blower

The blowing feature is good but the mulching is too fine causing major dust clouds that spread leaf dust everywhere. The bag that is provided to collect the leaf mulch is too small it fills quickly. I would not recommend this for mulching just using it for the blower feature [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Terrible design, fire hazzard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought other Worx products and they worked fine. I used this only once for 30 minutes. It's a bit heavy but powerful. However, it was shooting very fine powder from leaves from the vent in the bag and out through the sides where the bag connects to the device. Plus, the motor exhaust vents are placed so that it blows directly on to you holding the device at your side. I was covered from head to toe in fine leaf dust powder. Also, the power cord is located in the back, below the handle so as to get tangled up when you attach detach an extension cord. Who designed this thing? They must not have bothered to test it. Just seems like a very poor design. Another issue, which was reported here by another poster, is the heat generated by the device's power cord. It heated up my extension cord to the point it melted the end which plugs into the device. The blower/ mulcher's plug also had burnt up extension cord plastic/ rubber in it.
