This medium-sized (twelve-track) compilation covers some very good disco hits, but usually with the original artists "re-covering" their hits with more recent, higher-tech tracks. Sometimes there is very little difference between the songs here and the extended-AM versions of the 1970's; sometimes there's a considerable difference, as in the Spinners' "Working My Way Back to You," which is recognizably the same song but lacks the crisp vocal accompaniment of the original. For the price, it's a good nostalgic spin.
