They glow bright for a short period of time then fade completely. Turn light on and they recharge quickly but do not glow for very long. Slightly a bummer but at least they do glow for a little while. My kids are happy. I bought 2 packs to cover their ceiling and it wasn't to hard to put them all up but I really wish they glowed for a longer period of time. Not great but works for my kids amusement.
removes paint and pieces of ceiling where they were placed. Most didnt light up and those that did didn't last long.
