I have just picked this item up today, and I absolutely love it!! It was pretty easy to set up and start using. The instructions are perfect to use, there isn't 300 pages to try and sort through. It's really great. The sound is good, and the alarm is easy to set up. And I am glad that there is a radio. What is also good about the radio is when you listen to it and then switch back to you IPod it picks up right where you left it. Once or twice when I was listening to my IPod, it turned the music off and all I had to do is press play and it went right back to where it was. You can dim the light which is also good. All and all, it is a really great product for the price and it looks great too!
The iHome IH9 is an awesome product. I had one in a hotel room I had recently and had to have one in my home. Its so cool how the volume of your chosen song genltly increases till you wake up. It's so much better than any clock radio I've ever used. The sound is incredibly full and clear and it doesn't get fuzzy at high volume. I would recommend this to everyone. Get it and your mornings will begin with a smile!!!
this thing is a very good alarm clock/ radio... the reception for the fm radio is great. it saves space. and i just love waking up listening to the radio.. it is also a good buy, 100 dollars worth spending on.. very durable... nice finish... i love it! thanks walmart
This was a good purchase - it charges my nano 4gen. Came with all kinds of adapters for iPod/iPhone. Alarm has 5/2 capabilities. (my old clock had to be manually switched between weekday/weekend alarms. Even if your iPod is not docked, the alarm will beep. You can set your snooze time; your sleep time. I only gave it a "good" value rating, because I have a hard time justifying ~$80 for a clock radio. But that's just me. I wanted the radio option, but truly haven't used the radio since setting it up to tune (antennas work great) The charging/alarm was critical for me. The clock display is extremely bright (light a dark room bright), but has multiple dimmer settings, including off.
i have had this product for 2 days now and im like in love with it! i couldnt wait to get home today after school today to use it, yeah its that great. i would recomend the iHome to anyone and everyone. the only thign that i dont like about it is that the alarm is not loud enought to wase me up. so i just set it to wake me up by playing my iPod
I love music and just have to have something playing whatever room of the house I'm in. I use the radio the most probably, since that's the simplest just to hit the on off button. I don't have an iPod, i just have an MP3 player. I figured the cord would be included... it wasn't, so that was an extra cost but once I got the right cord I haven't had any problems playing my MP3 on there. I love it and am really glad I got it. I really enjoy the 2 alarms, too!!
This radio is excellent. I like that I can control the ipod menu using the remote control. Set up was easy, the sound is good for a clock radio. I especially like that the radio can charge the ipod, but will not overcharge it. This is great, as a concern of mine was overcharging the battery if left on the dock. It looks great too.
The only thing I didn't like was that it's not as loud as I would want it to be but since it's an alarm clock I can't be too picky. I definitely love it, it is a little pricey but there's nothing really else that's cheaper with all the cool functions so its worth it.
The iHome iH9B6 is compact and easy to use. It has great sound and adjustable sound options, such as bass and treble, as well as speaker balance. For such a small unit, the speakers offer a really full sound. Rarely, I have experienced some "popping" in the speakers. The remote to the system works well, although sometimes you have to try to find a perfect "spot" if you're across the room. I also like that the remote allows you to make menu selections on your iPod.
I bought this product with such high expectations and was tremendously disappointed. Upon setting it up in my master bedroom, I was so stunned at the poor radio reception. In hooking up the AM antenna, I got static reception for a strong station right in the city I lived in! When I uncoiled the FM antenna, I got static reception if I moved around the room. Tried to hook it up in my living room and got the same bad static. Product was returned immediately.
