I bought this for my daughter to have a portable radio to listen to her ipod. I really wasn't expecting much when it came in, but it really is a good little radio. It sounds great! It is definitely worth buying, especially for the price!
This boombox was a great value for the price. It's great because it has a remote, plugs in the wall and plays/charges your ipod or you can listen to the radio.
After a lot of research, I decided to go with iLuv boom box. So far it works great. Sound is great and I love that it comes with a nifty little remote control. I would definately recommend this to a friend!
You can find speakers that are smaller and more portable, but if you're looking for great sound and the ability to plug into an AC outlet plus a few extra features, this one is for you. Got this because I didn't want to always have to plug into a USB which a lot of cheaper speakers do. The sound is better than I expected, and I like that you can connect it to your TV to watch videos/movies that you have on your ipod. I'm glad I upgraded to this model.
i love this boombox! i have it in my office and it has wonderful sound! the volume can go very loud and speakers are great. i'm totally pleased with my boombox.
This product is advertised on this site to charge all iPods while playing. I ordered the 4th generation iPod at the sametime as this and it does not charge my iPod as stated because they sent me one that was made 2 years before the 4th generation iPod came out. Now I have to send it back to the manufacture to get it upgraded. Other than this inconvenience I am quite satisfied with the product.
I like the ilux boombox it has a great sound and easy to use. The only thing you can not charge the ipod directly on the player you have to plug it into the machine with a cord provided.
The boombox is used in our den and really has many features that make it an exceptional value. We have two iPods and it's just so easy to switch between the two. I love the fact that we can plug it into our tv to watch all the downloaded movies and shows. Only complaint, the speakers are rather flat. I have to set the eq on the iPods to get any sort of quality sound. It's not so bad for a backup sound system or small room.
I bought this for my daughter to go with her Ipod Shuffle and it would not recognize the shuffle when it says it does. The radio sucks, won't pick up a station at all.For the price you would think you would be getting something nice, yeah right. You can get something cheaper and better and with a clock. I DO NOT recommend anyone to buy this.
This product will not charge the newest iPod Nano with video. I contacted the people at iLuv as the instructions and box make the claim that it will charge the nano while playing. These were ordered for Christmas 2009. I was told by iLuv that only the i522 made after January 2007 has the ability to charge. So when I thought I was getting a recent new product I actually received a product almost 3 years old. Don't believe the product info.
