I was looking for a system my son could use to play his iPod and CDs at a relatively low price point, but that wouldn't fall apart after a few months. After reading quite a few reviews, I thought this would be a good match. The "Gyro" iPod interface is cool and works well. CDs play without issue. The credit card remote controls all of the functions consistently from 10-12 feet away (not sure how far the remote range goes). The two speakers each contain a woofer/driver and tweeter, but I was expecting a bit more low end from the system. There are only a few preset EQ settings and no bass boost feature. However, there's no distortion, even when played at higher volumes. For the price this is a good choice.
I was so excited to buy this for my sons 11th birthday. He had received a I-touch and thought what can i get him to make more use of it. The RCA Ipod Dock was delivered on time no complaints there. the sound is amazing very good quality plays RADIO and CD that work Awesome. Looks great in his room the only thing was it did not play his I-touch the manual and the packaging said that it would and was sooo bummed when it didn't.
