In this review i want to just comment on all the bad things mentioned about the 3DS either by certain reviewers or by people on forums. The battery life being horrible: This all is up to the type of person that is using the 3DS. If you just play games one to two hours at a time it won't effect you. Now if you're a marathon gamer this can be a problem. But there are solutions. If you go on long road trips i suggest buying a car charger for the 3DS. If you go on long flights i would suggest buying the battery add on for longer battery life. But i don't see this as much a problem as people say because there are solutions if you must have a longer battery life. Plus for me i haven't had to charge it much. I played for an hour and it was still full bars on the charge. People saying the 3D sweet spot is too small: I would have to disagree a lot on this one. Most normal people do not play their 3DS sideways. That's the only way you can not see the 3D well. Or you shake your system a lot while you play. I have stood at far distances and seen the 3D fine and also held it closer to my face and didn't have any problems. People who say the 3D is just a gimmick: At first i would have agreed with this. But after playing for awhile i would have to say it's more than a gimmick. Especially in games like pilotwings and ridge racer it helps a great deal when compared to 2D. It adds depth so that you can see how far you are from objects and turns which helps a great deal. Now games such as street fighter can be said it's a gimmick but unlike some people who have said they turn the 3D off most times i disagree. I hate turning the 3D off after seeing the life it brings to the games even street fighter. It adds another level of detail in my opinion. I do suggest tweaking the 3D slider to get to where you feel comfortable playing in 3D because for some it can be a discomfort on the highest setting. The only bad thing i would have to say is the launch lineup of games. But more games are coming and more to be seen come the electronic entertainment expo.

Not cool - for this and it is used and pretty beat up. Ordered a new one. Even double checked my order to see if I accidentally ordered a used or refurbished one, and I didn't. Sooooooo frustrated!
This is not a new game console, I have yet to try it, but it arrived without the original box and in bubble wrap. Description stated it was new and it is not.
It was not noted anywhere that this was a used console. I opened the packaged today as it's my son's birthday and the console was not in the original box, first issue. 2nd issue is the amount of scratches on it. 3rd issue is the region 007-2001 code I received after setting it up. I put in a SD card which seems to fix this problem. The first sign of any other issues I am returning it. A disclaimer this being used should have been noted.
I ordered this and accidentally made the mistake of not checking who exactly is selling it first. The description says the product is new so I assumed I would get what it said. I assumed wrong because what they sent me was the complete opposite. I used to own a 3ds for 6 years before it broke and wasn't close to the condition of the 3ds they sent me. hinges were completely loose and wouldn't lock so the top screen was flapping around, the port where you plug the charger in was bent and damaged, both screens were scratched especially the bottom one which looked like someone took a screw to it and on top of it all it didn't even come with the right stylis, just some cheap knock off. If you look up who Retro VGames is, it will show several posts and reviews basically saying they are a scam. You are better off going to EBAY.
Never got it. Seller should never be allowed to sell with Walmart again. This is common for them. I am not the first they stole money from.
Condition is listed as new, but the device is very obviously used. Scratches on casing, screen has an imprint of the joystick, and the charging port is bent at an odd angle.
So this is definitely not a new item. Comes in bubble wrap, not in its package. No stylus. Just a wire for charging, no original plug in. Looks in good condition, battery life not good-dies off quickly, no original console booklet. Glad I purchased the warranty for this as the seller is dishonest.
All the items are not in the package like it says in the product details. It's suppose to be new, but this item is used. It has dirt and scratches on it.
