My family loves the wii U. My daughter who is 7 (6 at the time of purchase) quickly picked up how to use this. I like that you can play on the game pad and it doesnt have to be played on the screen which is great if my husband and I want to watch a movie and our daughter wants to play a game. Super mario smash brothers is my daughters favorite game ever and totally kicks my butt in it every time (i just dont understand the game) Splatoon is very kid friendly and my daughter loves this game as well the wii U has amazing display features, and vibrant colors. I highly recommend! We own both the wii and the wii U
My son helped set this up, we realized the games were loaded onto the console so there were no discs to keep track of.
This was a gift for my daughter. I thought it was a great deal. The two games were 50 each so the package deal is a steal. The wii u itself is awesome.
I liked that I got this at $279 as a bundle + two games. Splatoon, is ok, But I absolutely love Super Smashbros. A really good game. Allows you to challenge and be challenged on your fighting skills.
I have one of my own, so I purchased one for my grandson for Christmas. He couldn't believe Grandma had one before him. I really enjoy mine and the other options that come with it, for example: Netflix.
I think this is a great deal. I mean, think about it. A Wii U Deluxe Set, with two downloaded games, for $279 dollars. THAT is as good as a Black Friday deal gets. I've played both of these games and they are great for children and teens. I definitely recommened this to anybody still looking for a Wii U for a great price, or as a gift for the upcoming holdidays. Awesome deal.
I gave this to my little brothers and they cried tears of joy only to find out that they will have to wait till Christmas to play it (I know I am evil)
I loved being able to shop on Black Friday online. I hope WalMart continues to offer this service. It's extra helpful since I'm disabled and don't get around much. My grandsons enjoys the WII U and likes that two games were already downloaded.
It has not been opened yet because it is a Christmas gift, but I was very pleased with the whole shopping at Wamart experience.
Absolutely love Nintendo Wii U Splatoon and Super Smash Bros Console Deluxe Set! We purchased this for my 4year old son because of the child friendly "shooter" game. The console was easy to set up, however I will STRONGLY advise for you to charge the game pad for 12hrs before use. The charger for our game pad came defective but after speaking with Nintendo I found out that before you turn anything on, you need to fully charge your game pad. The set up instructions do not say this but just be sure to do it. (also they replaced the charger without any hassle.) Splatoon is a super cute and easy to play game. It involves picking a character and going around shooting at creatures using paint. My 4yr old had this game mastered within minutes of playing. We had to help him with a few parts but it really isn't violent and for us this is a good game for kids that like to play FPS games. No blood and full of positive colors. Super smash bros is so much fun as well. I feel that it is more suitable for older kids because of the violence. That being said you get to create your own player as well as make your own battle field. So much fun! I love all the different characters it has to offer and again super easy to play. If my 4yr old can master it then anyone can! Overall I want to say this was the perfect bundle. 2 great games with a great console equals hours of fun for the entire family!! The only reason I'm not giving this a 5star is because the charger did come defective. Other then that I wish I would have purchased 2 instead of 1!
