Logitech Wireless Mouse Marathon M705 lets you power on... and on. It uses less power than comparable wireless mice from other companies, so you'll go up to three full years between battery changes.¹ And it uses a tiny wireless receiver that stays plugged in to your computer, so your mouse is ready to go-whenever, wherever, and for as long as it takes. Plus, hyper-fast scrolling means you'll fly through long documents to find what you need in a flash. Advanced Optical Tracking means you'll get smooth, responsive cursor control. And the sculpted, right-hand shape means you'll be as comfortable finishing up as you were getting started.

I needed a mouse for father's day and found a great deal on walmart.com, even better price than other electronic websites. Love the amount of buttons and the comfortable shape of the mouse. It was nice enough that I bought two of them, one for my dad and one for me.
I have a Logitech Performance MX I use at home. I ordered the Marathon for work since Logitech fit my hands well. I like the features and button sets and since the software, called Setpoint, is the same, it was no problem configuring the buttons to my tastes. Good work mouse.
I especially like the button on the side. Holds function without having to keep holding top button down.
I've been using Logitech marathon mouse for quite a while now and never had any issues. This one is the same so far. The design fits my hand really well and it's not too large like many other designs I've seen.
Didn't like having to use a laptop pad for creatives, so got myself this mouse and it's great!
I have found this mouse to be reliable, comfortable, and great on batteries. The freewheeling option is indispensable for me, as I often need to scan through long lists of items. It's also a great fit for my hand; I am 6' 2", and have very large hands. It's not an oversized mouse, it just feels right. The extra buttons are a bonus.
This mouse lasts forever on normal batteries. It is also pretty tough; I've had it for years, dropped in many times, and it still works like a charm. Hands down the best mouse I've ever owned. Combine that with the teeny tiny USB attachment which can also interface with other Logitech junk and this is a winner. Strongly recommend for everyone.
I bought this as a replacement for the premature failure of my M310 mouse by Logitech. It only lasted 3 months. So far, the Marathon seems comfortable and feature packed. I like the idea that the wheel has no detent so you can skim through a page much faster and with fewer strokes. Seems more sensitive than previous models I have used. The rubberized sides has a good feel to it and the contours fit my hand well. I also like the fact that, with the downloadable software, it will pair with original Logitech wireless Desktop as a direct replacement. I hope it lasts longer than the last one...
This mouse works well but it feels a bit cheaper materials compared to the 4yr old Logitech mouse it replaced and is a bit too large for my taste. This also takes larger (heavier) AA rather than AAA batteries. My old Logitech mouse had an issue, where after a couple years of use, single clicks would be recognized as double clicks. Was replaced free under warranty once, but it happened again to the replacement. If you don't mind the huge size, and possibility of it needing to be replaced for free during the warranty, then this is a great mouse and the price is reasonable. I had paid nearly double the price for the old Logitech mouse, and gladly would have done so again if Logitech made a better one. I also noticed that Logitech mice are relatively noisy when you 'click', whereas some competitor mice are generally silent when you click -- not a major issue for me.
I have used only a Logitech mouse for years, always excellent. However, the Marathon Mouse needs improvement in the Wheel mechanism as it is not 'touch' friendly, takes a lot of getting use to when scrolling, is not sensitive enough. I've had it several weeks now and I am getting used to the wheel more but would not buy this same model again.
