Just getting familiarized with the 610. Basic operations were easy to figure out and use. Good for geocaching so far and after getting the topos down will test the back woods navigating.

I've own this device for about 2 years. Great for Geocaching but not for trekking or hiking. Most sites have way points to download for the Garmin but not for Magellan products. The maps on my iphone was easier to use. I and my son-in-law used GPS devices in the Army and we could not figure it out completely or reproducibly. The Magellan comes with minimal instructions and is super hard to figure out. I'm selling mine and buying a Garmin.
