This product was great for my 3 year old. She received it as a birthday present and loves spending time in it. It's nice and big and along with her, her play kitchen and myself, there's plenty of room for one other adult to sit comfortably. It does take up quite a bit of space, but it's a great 'play area' for a little princess. We have not tried to fold it back to it's original shape/size, so I can't comment on the ease of packing up and putting away after use.
I bought this playhut for my granddaughter's 5th birthday because she was always trying to make a tent using a blanket and chairs. Her sister, who is 7, likes to play in the new playhut too. It was so easy to set up and is large enough inside to put their favorite things inside with them. They plan on sleeping in it the next time they have a sleepover. I am sure it will provide many hours of entertainment.
We purchaced this playhouse for our 2 girls because all the other tents are too small for more than 1 child. Our girls have slept in this every night for 3 weeks!!! They take all their toys in there and have a fort during the day. It went up in 1 second and we have not taken it down but when we do we will just fold it flat and slide it behind the bunk beds because they love it so much it will not stay down long. Another advantage is the kids play better when their stuff is out and this hides it well. They have had 5 girls in the tent playing dolls and they had enough room. The 20.00 princess table and 2 chairs fits in there great too!!! Ohhh Sooooo Much FUN..hope you enjoy yours :}
This thing is huge and well worth the money. My little girl LOVES this "home inside her home." I can't wait until summer so it can be outside. Until then, we are able to replace the television with hours of entertainment inside this wonderful playhouse. Add a princess kitchen set and dolls of choice and watch your child's imagination GO!!! This was the best present from Santa! *** Parents beware, you may start missing things from your house, check the megahouse. They are probably in there. :-)
We bought this playhut for my two kids, age 2 and 4, as a fill in until we could afford to buy a large playhouse for them. We were surprised at how large and nice the pop up tent actually is! In fact, it's so spacious that both of my kids AND my husband and myself can easily fit inside for a tea party or 'camp out.' The kids enjoy it so much, that we are holding off on buying the playhouse, since this has quickly become a big hit with them!
We got this as a Christmas gift for our 5 year old daughter. We set it up Christmas Eve night after the kids were asleep and she freaked in the morning when she saw it! She absolutely loves it. She slept in it for a week after Christmas and opened every gift inside of it. It really lets a child use her imagination in play. The only problem I have with it is the price. It was almost $50 with tax and it really is just a pop up tent. I can't imagine it costs that much to manufacture. My daughter loves it though, so any price is worth it.
We bought this and had it shipped to our local Walmart. Our girls have not wanted to leave it since. It is too big for their bedroom so I tried folding by the directions given. This morning when I tried to put it up we had some problems with the sides not holding thier shape. My husband was able to twist some things around so I think we're good now, but I HIGHLY recommend NOT folding it to fit it back in the bag. If you're going to fold it, just fold it so it's flat, not so that it twists into a circle. Best of luck! It really is a great product besides the folding issue.
My 3 year old daughter thinks this playhut is the most awesome thing she has ever seen. She loves to play in it and show it off to everyone that comes to our house. It is definitely one of the best purchases we have made for our daugther. The only down-fall is that it is very hard to get back in the storage bag that it came in. It is good for someone who is not looking to take it down very often.
My daughter received this as a gift for her 4th birthday. It's HUGE!!! It's really roomy (I've joined her in it on several occassions). Not only does my daughter enjoy this but so does her dog! I had the same leaning issue as one of the other commenters but overall it's great!
It is a tent, a large tent without a floor to it. It is very beautiful and cool to look at, however we had troubles keeping it up straight. It was always wanting to lean one way or the other and one time it completely collapsed. My daughter loved the tent, but b/c we kept having troubles stabilizing it, it now just sits folded up in her closet and she just got it for her b-day 3 weeks ago, it has been put up for at least 1 1/2 weeks. $48 to play with something for a week and a half...I gotta say not worth it
