I bought the tent expecting it to be small, but it is a good size for my son. He and I have even slept in it together (it was a tight fit for me). It is easy to put up and put away and comes with a bag for storage. I encourage you to buy this for your child if he likes tents.
I bought a couple of tents for my daughter...and they require about 5 poles to assemble them. Over the past year I think we have lost about half of the poles. I got this tent for my nephew and was so excited that it didn't require any poles for structure. If stands up great and it is so much easier to store. Now I'm getting rid of my daughters tents and finding one like this. One thing though...do not throw away the instructions until you know the correct way to close it...I learned that the hard way.
This product has thus far been wonderful. It is very durable as my 2 yr old runs in to it, pushes it, and trips on it, and yet it still looks like new. My child enjoys the hole in the back of the tent (where a tunnel could attach), he uses it as a secret exit. The only negative which is fixable would be that the entrance door has know way of being kept open, but can easily be attached with stick on velcrow.
My son is very destructive, it took 2 yrs to find a hideout ( tent ) like this one for my little monster! IT's flexible enough to fold up and store, and it's easy for a four yr old to put up and take down . He spends hours in there playing with various toys, and loves to turn the tv on and watch through the small window. We are buying two more for presents to our friends children! Highly recommended product and the price was fair too.
My daughter and nephew LOVED this tent. The only thing I was disappointed in was that you are not able to tie the door flap up (which is useful when two toddlers are running in and out of it). We tried to tape it, but it kept falling down. Other than that, it was a huge hit!!
My son received this as a gift for his 2nd birthday. He loves it. It was easy to set up, and comes with a carrying case, so he can take it to grandma's easily. It is a good size. I suggest you measure where you are planning to put it, so that you will not be surprised by it's size. the mearurements are listed in the description. the ONLY thing I wish, was that the door flap wasn't so wrinkled. You can't iron it, andthe tent folds up, so there's no way around that. It's not that bad though. All in all, we love it!
My son loved this item and I've always had great experience with Playhut items. It seems they changed the material they make this with from the previous playhut tents since it does rip quite easily. It does fold down but it's a challenge to work it in the direction you need to get it back in the bag. It is very large and my kids love it!
It is way bigger than you think it is. It folds up or out in seconds and stores easily . Both kids love it and it provides hours of entertainment. I just wish the front door flap had a tie at the top to keep it open. It fits all 4 of us in this one tent !
Even though the product has dimensions, it's hard to imagine how it will fit your space and child. We redid our son's bedroom for Christmas from a toddlers room to a young boys room and went with the theme of McQueen from the movie Cars. We purchased this tent along with a few other things. We thought he'd spend a lot of time in his new tent. WRONG. He thinks it's too small and when his younger sister is in there with him and they get rough like kids do, the whole thing comes falling down! I still think it is a cute idea, but only for VERY YOUNG kids 1-3.
This is a cute tent, and my three year old loved it, but the door ripped a few hours after it had been opened on Christmas. Also, folding it up was much more difficult than we had expected. Its ok for the price, but it won't hold up to a couple of active kids.
