I got this for my daughter's 2nd birthday present (today). AND SHE LOVES IT!! She loves Sesame Street and to actually go inside a store, is great. She brought all her teddys and her coloring books and sat in there and colored and was nice and quiet!! Great product!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATALIE!!!
My two daughters just love this and its holding up pretty well. I would warn people that there are two tension rods that you put in - I couldn't get one in and asked my husband to help and he pushed it through the material... if that hadn't happened, it would be great. Just be careful putting it together!
Although I was expecting this product to be made out of a slightly stronger material and have a floor in it, I am very pleased with this purchase. My daughter is 2 and absolutely loves it. She likes to hide from us when she doesn't want to do something (like take a bath or go to bed), and she always want Mom & Daddy to get in with her. It also served the other purpose for which I bought it...to replace the big, ugly cardboard box in my living room. I would recommend this product to anyone with little ones who love to hide, play peek-a-boo, or just have their own space.
My Grandson loved this. It falls over easily when you have a very active 2 year old who pounces on the sides. But, it is not made to be handled rough. It assembles easily with 2 rods slipped into pockets for stability. Can be folded up and stored back in the box or maybe under a bed. Ample size for 2 children to play in. It would be nicer if the one side with the opening had another strip of Velcro to keep the doorway open. Great toy!
This tent is a great size, folds down easily, and is extremely light. The best part is that my son likes to jump on it and it just collapses flat so no one gets hurt. This is great for storage when you don't have time to actually fold it up you can just flatten it and stick it behind the couch or under a bed. There is velcro on one of the doors that sticks together so I might just cut it off, other than that we love it! It can probably fit 3-4 small children sitting in there.
Bought this because my granddaughter has an Elmo themed room. We already have the bed & table set and she just got the Combo pack so this was a natural for Christmas. Opened very easily as stated in the description. It was a big hit Christmas day, she played inside nicely, but after a few days all she wanted to do was knock it down. There is no floor so I'm not sure if that makes it easier to knock over, we will try again every few weeks. She is only 2 and is a very active child so can't really blame the product. We are going to try and make this her "reading" area in her Elmo chair next. Would recommend.
I opened the box today for my 2year olds birthday. Between my 2 and 3 year playing in it a few hours they caused the rod that supports the tent, to rip through the material. The reason I still would recommend this product is because I think we can fix it and it's not ripped to where they can't play in it. Also, we live in Arizona and it was just to hot for them to play in the box I made them outside. Plus, it folds up easily to store out of the way, it was only $14.00 and THEY LOVE IT....
Although my son loves playing hide and seek with this. I'm not too pleased with the make of it. It is made very cheaply! The two poles that hold the entire thing together will not stay put in its slots. It has ended up making holes where I had to end up sewing together for it to stay together. It is very flemsy!
We bought this for our 2 year old, but it is just too flimsy to stand on it's own when our son is playing in it. It is cute, but we decided we'd rather spend a little extra money and get one that would hold up better. We will be returning it very soon. We also found it incredibly difficult to get it to fold up correctly. The directions were not very helpful.
I bought this playhouse for my kids because they love to make forts. But every time they would crawl in it the stupid thing would tip over. I ended up bringing it back to the store. I would not recommend this product. way to flimsy and cheaply made.
