Both of these action figures are nearly perfect. The sculpt, articulation, and paint apps are very good, especially for a Hasbro Marvel Legends. They both come with their correct weapons which they can hold very well. The extra hands really help Elektra do some neat poses. Ronin in particular is one of my favorite HMLs. Elektra is almost as good, while she looks better than the old Toybiz Elektras, I really did not need to buy her again but I really wanted Ronin. The only negative I have is that at over $10 apiece they are slightly expensive.
First off let me say, I was on the fence about buying this because Hasbro Marvel Legends vs ToyBiz Marvel Legends are substandard. The sculpting on these figures are pretty good, though the paint could be better. I love the interchangeable heads, definitely a cool feature. Out of the two figures, Ronin is by far better, his scuplt and paint are perfect. Elektra is better then the previous legends Elekra by ToyBiz, her sculpt is pretty good but her paint in some areas is blurry / smudged looking. Overall I would recommend purchasing this set.
for the price it is great, of course i waited until it was at a pretty nice clearance. really, if legends were at a better price i would buy all of them, but the fifteen and twenty dollar price points don't work for me. so, ten to fifteen bucks, totally worth it, twenty (and then raised to twenty two while still sitting on the shelf) not worth it.
The two packs are pretty decent. They've done some minor tweeks to the figures to make the parts a little easier to swap for customizing figures. They have pretty decent articulation, it's better than some, but Ronin's is a little stiff and limited. Overall great figures and tons of fun.
I have not been a big fan of the Marvel legends that Hasbro have produced and the Marvel Universe figures 3 3/4 scale I've seen in stores look like JUNK!!! The Marvel Legends 2 packs are pretty nice. Elektra and Ronin are great and you can't beat the price.
Overall, I find the quality of hasbro's toys lately to be disproportionate to their price tag. These toys are decent, each figure comes w/ one extra head, an extra weapon, and the female, Elektra" comes w/ extra hands. However, for all that fancy articulation, neither figure moves terribly well, and neither of them feel rugged, like the type of toy that would last long in the hands of a child. That said, I got them on a clearance sale and knew what I was getting prior to ordering them, and at the sale price, they are perfectly acceptable toys.
