Like the phone. Nice large display and good battery life. My first venture into a smartphone so right now its much smarter than I. But I'm gaining.
I bought this phone to replace a contract phone. It has many of the same great features and the monthly cost is a fraction of what my contract was. The initial cost of the phone is a little high, but you get what you pay for. This phone is worth it
Overall for the price it's a great phone. The camera isn't half bad espessaly at close range but images lose sharpness as you move farther from the target. The actaul apperance of the phone is great, it's super thing and looks really sleak, the back cover is plastic and slips out of your hand kinda easy but the phone is pretty sturdy considering how thin it is. I've had pretty good luck with battery life it's a 2100 mah battery which is on the smaller side but the phone isn't super power thirsty so it works well. It runs smooth and fast, will bog down a bit with a lot of multi tasking and when your storage starts to fill up but as an overall it runs very smooth for most things. The display is nothing special, it's pretty bright and looks good, wish it was higher than 720p but it certanly gets the job done and is good at this price point. My biggest problem with the phone is the lack of storage on it due to pre installed bloatware etc, even with it having expandable storage it still fills up very fast because apps store their Cache data on local storage rather than micro SD card so if you have apps with a lot of data stored in them such as snapchat it will quickly fill up. Overall I truly like this phone, at a glance you would think it's a much higher end phone. I've enjoyed using it.
have had this phone for a couple of weeks. It works fine. Total wireless is the same as straight talk but only $35 a month instead of $45. very thin case i bought the extended warranty cause the last 2 phones i cracked the screen...seems about the same as my last Samsung Grand Prime...over all i am happy with it... my gf is going to switch to tw from st and get this phone also....
The system takes up 4.16 GB out of the 8 GB total storage on the phone. I recommend that you buy a Micro-SD card for this phone. Setup was simple. I activated it on the Total Wireless website. I had been using another device on Total Wireless, and it was easy to switch the devices. I even got to keep the same phone number. This version of the phone uses the Verizon towers. The speeds are throttled by Verizon, but they are still quite fast. The phone has plenty of RAM (1.5 GB) to handle almost everything you throw at it. Opening and closing apps is quite fast, and does not slow down even with every single app on the phone open at once. The screen is only 720p, but the size is just 5 inches, so it does not look terrible. The camera on the front and on the camera on the back are both 5 megapixels, which is quite good for a phone I got for $80. I recommend this phone to anyone who is looking at it.
Low storage.very low.have to remove some apps.just to add new ones.its crazy.horrible battery.ok call quality.camera no good used indoors.nice sleek screen finish.very nice.love how smooth it is.but the batterys the worst
When I got this phone, I was extremely pleased with my purchase. However, within a couple days, I realized I made a huge mistake. This phone had enough space for 4 apps, and none of them took up a huge amount of storage. I even purchased a 32 gb micro sd card, but it is only useful for moving pictures and music, so I've only used 1 gb of the sd card. Don't get this phone if you plan on using it for anything besides texting, calling, or taking pictures. This is for the minimalist
I liked this phone for the first couple days. And don't get me wrong, it is a decent phone for the price, but the actual phone system takes up more than half of the phone's storage space. Once I downloaded 4 apps and began texting and taking pictures, the phone's storage was completely full and I could not send or receive text messages. With the phone having only 8GB of data I ended up purchasing a 32GB memory card, but that can only store pictures. I literally have nothing on my phone and my storage is completely full. If you are using this phone strictly for texting and calling then it is perfect but if you're thinking about downloading any apps (not even including games) I would not suggest it.
Bought this Total Wireless LG 56VL X style, the battery will not snap into place! The gold contacts almost touch however, they are a fraction from doing so, hence battery can't slide into compartment! If, this defect can be corrected I would gladly give this device a higher rating.
Terrible phone I've had total wireless send me 2 replacement phones and 1 sim card. They expect you to send your phone back before getting replacement. Who can go without a phone? I gave replacement phone to a friend got it all set up took hours! And that replacement phone didn't work right, couldn't hear! So embarrassed I had my friend switch to total and giving him a phone he can only hear on speaker. He will go back to his cell company today after we go buy a phone he shouldn't have to be buying!
