this is a lot of phone for the money with a better battery than many phones. If you don't need the latest or most expensive device, give this a try. I have a second one as a spare. this thing is on 16 hours a day, only have to charge it every 7-10 days
This is the second e5 that I bought. I dropped my first one at a fairly high distance and cracked the screen. Used it for three years with a cracked screen until it wouldn't work reliably. I love the long battery life of this phone. I only charge it once or twice a week. Besides the long battery life I think everything else about this phone perfectly suits my needs.
I bought this phone for my wife, she had a flip phone that very limited features, now she can text,e-mail,take and send pictures. She never had a smart phone so it was a learning experience, she loves the phone,it was very to set up and transfer her mins from her flip phone,I also have the same phone love it.
Bought this phone a few weeks ago. Once I got it activated and my minutes and such. It fires right up. My wife has the e7. Nice phone. Going through the setup was a little tedious. Paired it up with the car. Made some calls. Need to put in the contacts. Short list. Going to keep as a "Ring, ring-----Hello" type phone. Use it mostly and "Where are you in Walmart" phone. It's just a fancy phone the shows up in my new car. Carried a BEEPER for 20+ years, that was bad enough
Received my brand new Moto e5 about a week ago. Finally got around to finishing the set-up over the last three days; I pretty much figured out most of the setup/features/functions without even referring to the manual! Pretty straightforward if you're familiar with Android smartphone platform. The only reason why I did'nt check 5 stars is on the pulldown screen, there is always a message - Motorola Update Services: Security Update Available After three downloads & installs, I realized they were All the same update, and this message does not go away! (Slightly Distracting) Maybe the machine will "understand" one day that it is repeating the same old message. Other than that flukey thing, it's a sleek device that has all that Google offers and then some; How 'bout 4 1/2 stars?
It's a pretty good phone for the price. My only issue with it is that it takes a very, very, very long time to install all of the updates since the original factory software is several years old. Other than that and being a tad slow with some apps, it is a great phone.
I've had this phone three weeks and it's much bigger and bigger than my I expected but I am not impressed with the quality of the refurbishment is the phone. The system update will not install
I was told I had to upgrade. My old phone was good but upgrade I did. I wanted a small one like I'd had. Only bigger ones offered. And it has loads of stuff on it. Stuff I don't want and it is very hard to get it off. It is complicated. An extra unnecessary step to make a phone call. News alerts all the time. I'm learning how to get most of those off. Tons of stuff to find and edit, yet. But I want more than a flip phone. I know it is great to have all that stuff at your fingertips but it should be presented in a way that it would be easy to edit to simplify to one's own needs and wants. It's no doubt a lovely phone if you want everything imaginable.
I have been having serious display problem from the start
I purchased the moto E5 hats is supposed to be brand new but when charged it up the backside of the phone got really hot to the point were i had to disconnect it from the charger. Im guessing it was a refurbished phone that didn't get completly fixed.
