Great phone / excelente telefono

I got this phone in a box , obviously not the original apple box. when you open it there is another box that contains the phone, cable, headphones and the cube charger in bags , the phone is well wrapped with bubble bag . It came in great condition like new. Definitely recommend this phone. Don't go for the $650 new phone, even if this is refurbished it looks new, feels new and doesn't have any scratches. Also comes with a $45 card to add it for month. If you dont want the Straight Talk service the only thing you got to do is not activate it with straight talk when you get it. Go to whatever company you'd like your phone to be in and thats it :). The service is good so far though, when im home i just use the Wifi to browse the internet, watch videos etc so i turn the cellular data off. The only thing about it that i don't like is that when your on the phone talking with someone, its low so you might want to use headphones or put the speaker on :)

I am very happy I purchased the straighttalk iphone 5 16GB with bonus $45 Unlimited plan, white, Refurbished. It is an awesome phone for a great and resonable price. Coming from a droid phone it is unreal the quality and functionality owning my first iphone is turning out to be..from the quality of sound and reception to the app features, the security of phone from password protection and icloud app, to the quality of the camera and video. Being hearing impaired I am so happy that the sound quality is clear n loud enough to make it somewhat easier to communicate. I would recommend this phone to my friends and anyone who is looking for top quality for a good price, for anyone who wants to experience good things through their phone. The refurbished phone looks and acts brand new, and with a bonus unlimited card in my opinion it is an exceptional value...I mean, hey, its an iphone.

I did a lot of research and found Straight Talk to be most affordable. I have had my phone and plan for about 2 weeks and am thrilled with my decision. The phone is refurbished and I was a little nervous. The phone came looking like new. It is easy to use. I went to the local Walmart to have start up and my existing number moved to the new phone. The sales associate was awesome. She took care of everything. I couldn't be happier.

The Network: I was really scared that the straight talk network would be awful. I used to have verizon but after some financial problems I couldn't afford the $200 a month price tag. And verizon prepaid wouldn't allow me to use an iPhone 5 on their network - why buy an iPhone if you can't buy a newer model, right? Also, I live in a small town in rural Iowa and the only service provider that works decently out here is verizon. Anyway, I actually get better service with straight talk than verizon, which is odd considering straight talk leases Verizon's towers. I get 3G everywhere and I rarely have less than 3 bars. I've only dropped a call once, in an area my verizon phone always dropped calls as well. The Phone: The phone looks and works like new. There was a small scuff on the back, but that could've occurred during shipment. Everything else is like brand new. Definitely worth saving the money. The only issue I've had is that the phone was delayed by a week from shipping. It sounded like the warehouse didn't know if they had it in stock - which is inexcusable in my opinion. A product shouldn't be listed as in stock online unless it's for sure that it's in stock. For those who have owned iPhones before, iPhone 5 isn't a huge difference from iPhone 4. It is noticeably faster and Siri is helpful when you can't type or don't have time. The voice recognition is more reliable than previous iPhones, lg android, and samsung android. I definitely like iOS 7 more than previous iOS versions. I wish apple would allow more customization, but I digress. This phone is awesome, especially when compared to most android prepaid smartphones. Definitely worth it.

Received my "refurbished" iPhone 5 in "like-new" condition cosmetically and functionally! The "Roll Back" price was $444.88 and included a 30 Day Straight Talk card. The Straight Talk card sells for $45, so do the math! The iPhone 5 cost just 399.88 and includes a 1 Year Apple Warranty! Meanwhile, used iPhone 5 models are selling on eBay for $400-500. What? Set up was quick and easy. In a matter of minutes my iPhone 5 was upgraded to the new IOS 7 operating system (great!) and activated on Straight Talk. This is a CDMA phone which uses Verizon's signal. I live in a rural area and had poor reception in the past with AT&T and Sprint. So I was very happy to see 5 bars (dots actually) on the signal strength indicator. The data speed is fast! Voice quality on phone calls is very good. The iPhone 5 is nearly identical to the "new" iPhone 5C. The difference being that the 5C has a polycarbonate (plastic body) and is available in a variety of bright colors. The iPhone 5 has the higher grade aluminum and glass body. Which would you choose? A new 5C at $549, or a like-new refurbished iPhone 5 at $399? Both include Apple's 1 Year Warranty. To extend my initial 30 day service, I decided to opt for Straight Talk's One Year Service Card which sells for $495. This works out to $41.25 a month, compared to $45 when paid monthly. I should mention that Straight Talk's data service is 3G (not 4G/LTE). However, there is no 4G signal in my area, as currently it is only found in major population centers. My experience with the 3G service so far is very good. It's plenty fast enough for my needs. For $41.25 a month, it is a terrific value, especially compared to Verizon or AT&T at around $90 or more. Keep in mind that "unlimited data" on Straight Talk will be slowed to EDGE speed (slow!) if you consume a lot of data. Although they don't provide details, it looks like slower speeds begin after 2GB of data are used within a 30 day period. I don't use a large amount of data, about 1GB a month, so this is not an issue for me, but it might be to heavy users. The iPhone 5 is a superb device! And Straight Talk works as promised! 5 Stars!!

I previously had the LG Optimus Q with straight talk and the service was terrible. I loved the phone, but it eventually bit the dust. I decided that I wanted a better phone with better service. I stumbled upon this refurbished iPhone 5 with straight talk and noticed it was a great deal. Long story short...I will never go back to android and I absolutely LOVE my iPhone! It looks and works like it was brand new AND I have service everywhere that I have been!

Well I switched from android to iPhone, and am not regretting it. This phone is amazing. Good reception on the verizon towers. Two reasons why I didn't give 5 stars. One is that I had gotten used to swiping while texting and this phone does not do that. Also, although this phone has the capabilities of LTE and 4g, it seems to be limited to 3G. Ugh. Overall, I love this phone. I love that it syncs with my iPad

I've had my IPhone for about 2 weeks now and I like it! I have the regular IPhone 5, not the "a" or "e" model. I really like the free app called Binaural Beats...it has a solfeggio frequency that you can listen to...it was free to download! Lots of free apps to download for the IPhone! I sure like this IPhone!

Love the phone, but no 4g with Straight Talk.

I absolutely love this phone. Even though it is refurbished, you can't tell it from a brand new phone. But I expected to get 4g. I was activated on the Verizon network with Straight Talk and there is definitely 4g Verizon towers in my area and other areas where I travel. The only thing I can think of is that the agreement between ST & Verizon doesn't allow 4g for the iphone on ST. Straight Talk should make this known before someone buys their service. I switched from Verizon to ST about a year ago and I think it is a much better value. But I paid a lot for this phone and I want to be able to use it's full capabilities. If I can't get 4g, I will return the phone or see if I can use it on another network. I'm not sure if it is an "unlocked" phone. I would welcome comments from anyone who knows more about how this works.

I had a 4th generation Apple iPod touch for a year before I finally decided to buy an iPhone. The phone itself is flawless and exceptionally beautiful. It's easy to use and easy to personalize. As far as Straight Talk, so far the service has been good. No dropped calls whatsoever. The only thing is that sometimes 3G is a little slow, but only in some places. I work in a school so there is always Wifi available and I predominately use wifi at home, too- so I haven't had much use for the data yet. Another issue was the charger that came with the phone. I don't know if it's because the phone is refurbished, but I had an issue with the screen shaking while the phone was being charged. It's not a big issue, it's just hard to scroll. The problem is the charger is not a genuine Apple charger. But that can be easily remedied by buying the aforementioned charger which, for the amount of money you are saving by buying this iPhone from Straight Talk, should be no problem.
